Divisional contests are the focus for this week as Alex Jack takes us through his selections in the NFL Betting, starting with the Thanksgiving showdown between the Saints and the Falcons.

New Orleans Saints v Atlanta Falcons

(Fri, 01:20am)

New Orleans over 12-point winning margin @ 19/20 – BET NOW

There really has been no stopping the Saints since their opening week defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as they have gone on to win an impressive nine games on the spin.

Quarterback Drew Brees and co put laid down a real marker in their last outing as they dished out the heaviest-ever loss on a reigning Super Bowl outfit, with a 48-7 drubbing of the Philadelphia Eagles.

It really will be tough for the 4-6 Falcons this week and the NFL Odds show that, as they go into the game on the back of two consecutive defeats against beatable opponents in the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys.

Not many teams will prevail against the Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome this term, so expect New Orleans to get the win in this NFC South divisional clash as they look to keep pace with the Los Angeles Rams in the fight for the No.1 seeding in the NFC.

Philadelphia Eagles v New York Giants

(Sun, 6:00pm)

Philadelphia Half-time/Full-time @ 10/11 – BET NOW

The Super Bowl feels like a lifetime ago for the Eagles after their last outing against the Saints but they have the chance to give their fans further bragging rights over NFC East rivals the Giants on Sunday.

Head coach Doug Pederson still has ambitions of guiding his side to the playoffs this season but, after six defeats already this term, it will be a tall order for Philadelphia.

A win over the Giants this weekend will be a must and QB Carson Wentz will have to produce a similar performance to the one that saw the Eagles beat New York 34-12 in the Big Apple earlier this season.

Philadelphia do have a strong record against their east coast neighbours and that is expected to continue this weekend, despite the Giants going in search of their third win on the bounce after successes against the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay.

New York Jets v New England Patriots

(Sun, 6:00pm)

New England Half-time/Full-time @ 8/13 – BET NOW

Over in the AFC East, top takes on bottom as they Patriots make the trip to face the struggling Jets.

QB Tom Brady and co will be determined to bounce back after a 34-10 defeat at the Tennessee Titans last time out.

That loss ended a six-game winning run and the Pats should still be fairly confident heading to a Jets side that have lost their last three to the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.

The likes of the Saints, Kansas City Chiefs and LA Rams have been grabbing plenty of headlines with their performances, but nobody should be writing New England off at this stage.

A win over the Jets should be as comfortable as it gets as the Pats continue their push towards those playoffs clashes.
