Clippers -6pts@ 10/11
It’s getting down to the wire now for the Mavericks who are in a three way tussle with Memphis and Phoenix for the seventh and eighth seedings way out West.
The gods certainly haven’t been with Dallas of late with two overtime losses in a 4-4 run of results at home and now they match-up against the Pacific champs that are on a massive roll of 17 from 19 and hold a three to nil series lead over them this term.
One huge plus for them is that JJ Redick may be coming back from injury for the Clippers, but he is not sure to be 100% sharp for this which would be a relief as he plundered a career high 33 points the last time these two franchises met helping his team to recover from a 17-point deficit at one stage.
On all known evidence the Clippers should win this and many of you I know will be willing to have them as the base of an accumulator wager at around 2/5, as a buying money syndrome. However there is much better value on the handicap market and if you want to push the boat out further in the first quarter and half betting instead.
