Britain's Amir Khan will travel to New York's Madison Square Garden on Saturday looking to upset the boxing odds by inflicting a first professional defeat on WBO welterweight champion and pound-for-pound king Terence Crawford.
Crawford To Win @ 1/9 - BET NOW
Khan opted to turn his back on a lucrative and in-demand all-British showdown with long-term rival Kell Brook to chase another world title chance against Crawford.
The 32-year-old knows what it takes to win title fights having being the unified lightweight champion when he claimed both the WBA (Super) and IBF straps before defeat to Lamont Peterson in December 2011.
The American failed a drug test afterwards so Khan was reinstated with the WBA champion but lost that in his next fight against Danny Garcia.
The Bolton man has since stepped up to welterweight, although he did make the brave decision to face Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez for the WBC middleweight belt only to suffer a brutal sixth-round knockout defeat.
Khan is now looking to claim his first welterweight belt, but will have his work cut out against Crawford, who has won all 34 of his fights to date.
The 31-year-old American southpaw has held multiple world championships in three weight classes, having won the WBO, Ring magazine and lineal lightweight titles, before spell as undisputed light welterweight champion in 2017.
Having claimed the WBO belt at welterweight against Jeff Horn last June, Crawford will be making his second defence against Khan.

Crawford to win by KO TKO or Disqualification @ 2/5 - BET NOW
Crawford is a fighter who likes to get the job done without relying on the judges' scorecards with 25 of his 35 fights ending inside 12 rounds.
Indeed, he has only been taken the distance once in his last nine bouts and that was in a light welterweight unification showdown with Ukrainian Viktor Postol in July 2016.
However, Crawford did need 12 rounds to finally see off Jose Benavidez Jr in his most recent fight last October so that might give Khan some hope of reaching the latter rounds.
Since losing his WBA light welterweight belt, Khan has suffered just one defeat and that was against Canelo at middleweight, while his most recent outings have resulted in a first-round KO of Phil Lo Geco and a unanimous points win against Samuel Vargas last September.
And he is confident of coming out on top against Crawford, insisting that the champion's fighting style suits him and those believing the hype can get 9/1 for the Khan win.
Crawford to win in Round 10 @ 12/1 - BET NOW
Crawford's reputation for winning inside the distance coupled with Khan suffering KOs in three of his four professional defeats suggests another stoppage loss is on the cards for the Briton.
Khan has lost in the first, fourth and sixth rounds respectively in the past, while 13 of his 33 wins have come via a points decision and that will possibly be his best chance of success at a tempting 12/1.
However, it is likely that Khan will fall short in the later rounds and Crawford's power should see him get the win in the bag by the 10th.
