Silva is 47, which is more than 20 years older than Paul. The Spider will aim to turn back the clock in the boxing ring in Glendale, Arizona. Silva has a 3-1 record in boxing, with his most recent fight being in September 2021.

Boxing is a very different sport, and Silva may struggle against Paul. In the World of mixed martial arts, Silva was able to grapple with opponents. He will simply be able to punch once in the boxing ring against Paul. Can Silva upset the Problem Child?

Jake Paul versus Anderson Silva will take place in Glendale, Arizona at the Desert Diamond Arena. It is Paul’s first boxing match in the arena. It will be Silva’s second boxing match in the United States after previously fighting in Brazil and Mexico.

Jake Paul Record

Paul is 5-0 in boxing and goes into the bout after knocking out ex-UFC fighter Tyron Woodley in December 2021. Paul’s selection of another ageing ex-UFC fighter gives him the upper hand.

For one, Paul is over 20 years younger than Silva. In addition, Silva is used to grappling and kicking, not just punching opponents. Paul will have the upper hand going into the fight. The Problem Child has four career knockout wins.

Anderson Silva Record

Silva has a record of 4-1 in boxing. After losing to Osmar Luiz Teixeira in the first round of a bout in 1998, Silva didn’t step into a boxing ring again until 2005.

Silva won on his return to the squared circle with a knockout win against Julio Cesar de Jesus. In June 2021, Silva fought Cesar de Jesus’s son, winning the match in a split decision. The ex-UFC fighter most recently fought Tito Ortiz and won by knockout in the first round.

In the build-up to the fight, Silva claimed he was knocked out at least two times while sparring. Silva’s coach was shocked to learn the fighter was out during training matches. It is a worrying sign for the 47-year-old.

Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva Betting Tips

Paul is 5-0 in the squared circle and should claim a sixth win in professional boxing. Silva’s credentials in the octagon are nothing to laugh at. However, Silva lost three straight UFC bouts before leaving the promotion in 2020. This isn’t the Anderson Silva MMA fans watched between 2000 and 2012.

The fights have taken their toll on Silva. He is nearly 50 years and surely goes into the bout with Jake Paul with long-term injuries from MMA. In addition, Silva’s admission that he was knocked out twice in training is worrying.

It feels like this fight is set up for Paul to win. Our betting tips prediction is for a knockout win for Paul. The fight could end in under 5.5 rounds.

Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva Prediction

Our betting tips prediction is for Paul to win the fight against Silva and become 6-0 in the squared circle. Paul may be a YouTube, but he has trained and is being coached by experienced fighters. He should get the best of Silva and win the fight.

Once again, it is worrying that Silva was knocked out in training twice. Silva is a decorated UFC fighter, but he cannot use those tools in the boxing ring.

The Brazilian is stripped of two-thirds of his MMA game by putting on boxing. He cannot kick or grapple in the boxing ring and must use punches to strike his opponent. Paul should win the fight and move to 6-0.
