As England continue their build up to the World Cup this summer they play the second of their five-match ODI series with Pakistan on Saturday at the Ageas Bowl in Hampshire.

Here our expert Nick Harris takes us through the cricketing bets for Saturday's clash.

England v Pakistan: 2nd ODI Betting Odds

(Sat, 11:00)

England to win @ 4/11 - BET NOW

After the washout of the first game at the Oval on Wednesday, both sides will be keen to get the series up and running with a full 100 overs of action on Saturday.

England are not the world ranked number one side in ODI cricket for nothing and they will be looking to get some momentum going ahead of the World Cup later this month by dispatching Pakistan.

The tourists failed to show much reason why the home side would be too worried in the 19 overs that were possible on Wednesday when they reached 80-2 before the weather intervened and England are a side packed full of stars with a home victory expected on the south coast.

Although Pakistan will have their own ideas, England look a much more settled team which will take an awful lot of stopping, particularly if Jason Roy and Moeen Ali feature after injury issues.

ODI Betting Tips: England v Pakistan

Jofra Archer - Top England Bowler @ 3/1 - BET NOW

All eyes are on England's Jofra Archer who has not been named in their preliminary World Cup squad but if Wednesday's six overs are anything to go on, he certainly will be.

In just 24 deliveries he reached speeds over 93 mph and his line and length were so perfect he did not concede a run until his 19th delivery.

The Barbados-born quick is consistently faster than anything else England currently have and his accuracy makes him a significant weapon.

Another good display on Saturday and it will be a case of 'who is going to make way for him' rather than 'will he make the final squad'?

England's other seamers - Liam Plunkett, Chris Woakes,Tom Curran, David Willey, Mark Wood and Chris Jordan - will all be desperate they get a chance over the course of the series to try and secure their own place in the final squad.

They will be doing their best to get amongst the wickets to keep their names to the fore but Archer looks a strong candidate to lead the way when it comes to wickets on Saturday.

England v Pakistan: 2nd ODI Prediction

Top England Batsman - Eoin Morgan @ 9/2 - BET NOW

England may again be without Roy and Moeen for the game although both are closing in on a return to action. Roy, in particular, will be keen to get back playing again sooner rather than later to show he is fit enough for the World Cup after playing just three times since returning from the West Indies due to hamstring and back issues.

If the pair don’t make it, there will be another opportunity for both James Vince, who would be playing at his home ground of course, and Joe Denly to stake a claim ahead of the May 21 deadline for finalising the 15-man squad for the World Cup.

However, Morgan is tipped to lead from the front for England, with Vince and Denly far from experienced at this level, and showed enough in the one-off Twenty20 international with a blistering, unbeaten 57 to demonstrate he had put his duck against Ireland well and truly behind him.
