New Zealand do have the tools to progress to the final but I cannot see it happening with the way their results have tailed off. Tipped to challenge the Baggy Greens and Three Lions, the Kiwis went down by large margins in both games and it is clear they are over-reliant on Williamson and Ross Taylor.
Their batting capitulation in both games is a worrying trend, with early-tournament optimism replaced by fear, and it is a tough situation to overcome given the standard of opposition.
Key moments in the match need to go their way for the Black Caps to win and it is India who are tipped to progress to the final.
