Royal Challengers are a perfect three from three in the new Indian Premier League campaign and they will be hoping they can maintain their 100 per cent start on Thursday against Rajasthan Royals, who have suffered defeat in two of their first three fixtures.

Royal Challengers vs Rajasthan Royals Betting Odds

It should come as no surprise to see undefeated table-toppers Royal Challengers as a warm order at 4/6 to extend their winning run against Rajasthan Royals.

The Bangalore outfit were emphatic winners in each of last season’s double header with the Royals, triumphing by seven and eight wickets, and they will be full of confidence after their flying start to the new campaign.

Royals are a capable outfit but they fell 45 runs short in their 189-run chase of Chennai Super Kings at this venue last time out, so the Challengers would be expected to pile more misery on them in Mumbai.

Royal Challengers vs Rajasthan Royals Team News

Royal Challengers captain Virat Kohli will be reluctant to make any unforced changes after their impressive start to the season, so Rajar Patidar is expected to retain his place ahead of Daniel Christian.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes was ruled out for three months with a fractured hand following the defeat to Punjab Kings, so is sidelined for Rajasthan Royals. Shreyas Gopal could return.

Royal Challengers vs Rajasthan Predictions

Royal Challengers to win - BET NOW

Everything points to a fourth straight victory for Royal Challengers and if they are to keep their unbeaten record intact, then another big performance from Australia’s Glenn Maxwell may be required.

Royal Challengers have far superior batting depth when compared to the Rajasthan Royals, who are weakened by the injury to excellent England all-rounder Stokes.

The Royal Challengers’ have a strong opening partnership featuring Indian skipper Kohli and his classy younger compatriot Washington Sundar, before Rajat Patidar comes in at three.

Even after all of that, Simon Katich’s men can call upon the services of Maxwell and South African AB de Villiers at four and five, which ought to give them a big advantage in Mumbai.

Glenn Maxwell man of the match - BET NOW

And it may be the big-hitting Maxwell who again blasts the Bangalore boys to another victory.

Maxwell has the ability to turn a game on its head very quickly and he has started the season strongly, hitting 39 in victory over Mumbai Indians, before top-scoring with 59 against Sunrisers Hyderabad and repeating the trick with 78 against Kolkata Knight Riders last time out.

The 32-year-old has already hit 25 boundaries - eight sixes - in his three appearances this season and at 7-2 he is worth backing to lead the Royal Challengers charge again.
