The climax of the 2018 t20 Blast takes place at Edgbaston on Saturday as the four remaining teams do battle for the spoils. It looks set to be a thrilling day of semi-finals ahead of the final and we will check out all the betting possibilities with these cricket tips.

Worcestershire v Lancashire

(Sat, 11:00)

Worcestershire to win @ 1/1 - BET NOW

The Royals topped the North Division with nine wins from 14 matches and then took care of Gloucestershire in the quarter-finals. Much depends on star batsman Callum Ferguson and the Australian did not disappoint in the last-eight triumph, scoring an unbeaten 60.

He is a man for the big occasion but will have England’s Moeen Ali alongside once again and that could prove the difference. Having been recalled to the England ranks, the ‘Beard That’s Feared’ has been a revelation and will be brimming with confidence after the Three Lions’ success against India.

Promoted to number three, the left-hander has played with caution but it will be a return to the swashbuckling Moeen in Birmingham, and it would be no surprise to see him make a significant contribution.

Lancashire will have Keaton Jennings and, more importantly, Jos Buttler returning from England duty and the latter has the ability to take the game away from any side, but I can see the New Road outfit sneaking this one and advancing to the final.

Sussex v Somerset

(Sat, 14:30)

Sussex Sharks to win @ 10/11 - BET NOW

Sussex were third in the South Division and far too strong for Durham in their quarter-final clash so I can see them reaching the final this weekend. Laurie Evans is a powerful hitter, while Delray Rawlins also packs a punch in the middle order, but it is the Sharks' attack that is their trump card.

Chris Jordan and Tymal Mills have the pace to unsettle anyone, while spinners Danny Briggs and Will Beer will give the Somerset batsmen plenty to think about, especially if the surface is receptive to turn.

The Taunton outfit have the likes of Lewis Gregory in the ranks and the 26-year-old can certainly hit a long ball, having smashed an unbeaten 60 off just 25 deliveries in the quarter-final victory over Nottinghamshire. But can he do it when the pressure is at its greatest?

Sussex to win tournament @ 11/4 - BET NOW

These four sides do seem fairly evenly matched and there is little to choose between them in the market, with the cricket odds having Somerset and Lancashire also on offer at 11/4 and Worcestershire priced at 3/1.

Expect explosive batting and plenty of sixes on Saturday at the home of Warwickshire is expected, but in mid-September there will be assistance for the seamers and I feel Sussex have the edge in this department.

If their batsmen can get enough runs on the board then the Sharks’ attack will bear its teeth and have enough in the tank to lift the trophy.
