First Starting in 1978 the BDO World Championship was the only world darts tournament until 1993 when the PDC formed a breakaway tournament. The list of previous winners includes the likes of Eric Bristow, Phil Taylor, Andy Fordham and Martin Adams – a who’s who of UK darts legends.

This year we could see the crowning of a first time winner as current BDO world number one Glen Durant has never previously won the BDO World Championship – or even made the final! Who will win this year’s final on the 10th January 2016?

Latest BDO World Championship Odds

Glen Durant @ 4/1 – BET NOW. The winner of four tournaments already this year, Glen Durant has shot up the world rankings and currently sits at the summit. The 44 year-old known as ‘Duzza’ has only performed twice before in the BDO World Championships but his current form is outstanding and he will be hoping to go better than last year where he lost in the semi-final to Martin Adams after missing a dart to win the match.

Martin Adams @ 6/1 – BET NOW. Martin Adams lost a thrilling BDO World Championship final to Scott Mitchell last year but he has responded by winning two tournaments this year – his 17th place finish at the BDO World Trophy the only poor performance of a consistently good year for ‘The Wolf’. He is a former three time winner of this event and is currently available at a best price of 6/1.

Scott Mitchell @ 8/1 – BET NOW. Last year’s winner Scott Mitchell has yet to win a tournament since last year’s success, with his third placed finish at the Belgium Open his best performance thus far. For that reason he is now only third in the world rankings – and third favourite to win this event.

Wesley Harms @ 10/1 – BET NOW. The brilliantly named Dutchman has won the English Open already this year and despite being ranked fifth in the world he is fourth favourite in the BDO World Championship odds.

Jamie Hughes @ 12/1 – BET NOW. Winner of both the Swedish Open and the Romanian Classic this year, Jamie Hughes is currently the fourth best player in the BDO according to the rankings but he is available at a big looking 12/1.

Those are the BDO World Championship odds for the top five ranked players in the tournament but with our dedicated darts betting centre you can see the latest best odds for every single player.
