Night Three of the next stage of the PDC Home Tour takes place on Thursday and former world champion Gary Anderson is the main attraction.

It was thought the Scot wouldn’t be able to take his place in the event due to his weak WiFi, but Anderson upgraded and now has his sights set on the prize.

PDC Home Tour Play-Off Group Three Predictions

Two-time world champ Anderson is the odds-on favourite to qualify for the next stage, but this tournament has sprung quite a few surprises so far.

Luke Humphries, the world youth champion, looks like the real danger for ‘The Flying Scotsman’, with Nick Kenny and Jamie Lewis making up the four-man group.

Luke Humphries vs Jamie Lewis Betting Tips

Humphries to beat Lewis – 8/15 – BET NOW

Humphries has the upper hand in the head-to-head stats going into the second match of the night, having beaten Lewis on their two previous tour meetings.

They were pretty close affairs, with ‘Cool Hand’ beating Lewis 6-3 and 6-4, so it is likely to be another tight encounter on Thursday.

Lewis has been a World Championship semi-finalist before, but its Humphries in the better form at present, highlighted by the rankings. He also averaged a tournament-high 108.55 in his group win over Michael Smith.

The 25-year-old – who qualified at the second time of asking from Group 28 - is currently ranked 34th in the world, with his Welsh opponent in 60th.

Jamie Lewis vs Nick Kenny Betting Tips

Handicap Betting  (-1.5) Lewis to beat Kenny – Evens – BET NOW

The third match of the night is due to start at 8:30pm and sees the two Welshmen go toe-to-toe, in what looks like a must win for both players.

Although Kenny did beat Lewis the last time they met – in the Development arena – Lewis has more recent big-game experience and that looks set to give him the edge.

The man from Carmarthen is currently 49 places ahead of Kenny in the rankings and had kicked on in recent years, including that last-four World Championships appearance two years ago.

Lewis has been a member of the PDC Tour for nine years now, while Kenny only switched from the BDO earlier this year.

Gary Anderson vs Luke Humphries Betting Tips

Anderson to beat Humphries – 8/15 – BET NOW

Anderson – third favourite to win the inaugural tournament - had no trouble securing qualification for the second phase, winning his three games by a combined 15-4 scoreline.

The Scot was imperious in dropping just four legs, when winning Group 30 two weeks ago, and should be too strong for his last-32 opponents.

Anderson could also be seeking revenge, having been beaten by his English opponent during this year’s Premier League.

Lewis won 7-5 as a challenger in Exeter, so the double world champion will be keen to right the wrongs of that match.
