Tuesday PDC World Darts Championship Betting Odds

odds

On Tuesday, fans will get their first look at the world’s No 32-ranked player, Raymond van Barneveld. The Dutchman will play England’s, Ryan Meikle. Meikle will have the crowd in London supporting him, but will it be enough to overcome “Barney”? Meikle is ranked No 48 in the world and will fancy his chance of upsetting Barneveld.

Three additional matches will take place on Tuesday. Day No 6 will be a short day compared to the previous days at the PDC World Championship. Just four matches will take place with the event starting at 7:15 PM. Buckle up and get ready for another great night of darts in the PDC World Darts championship.

Michael Smith moves into the second spot according to bookmakers’ odds after the weekend. Smith defeated Nathan Rafferty 3-0 to kick off his journey to the PDC World Darts Championship final.

On Tuesday, ranked player Raymond van Barneveld will meet Ryan Meilke. Barneveld is at the best betting odds of 100/1 to win the World Championship. Meilke is at odds of 450/1 to claim the PDC title. The betting odds between the two players are rather close heading into the match. It should give fans a great fixture to watch.

Raymond van Barneveld and Ryan Meikle will headline the night’s darts action with a second-round fixture at 9:30 PM. Barneveld is ranked No 32 in the world going into the match, while Meikle is ranked No 48.

Meikle’ picked up a first-round win against Lisa Ashton 3-2. After winning the first two sets of the match, Ashton battled back to take the third and four sets. Meikle was able to pull together and overcome the near defeat with a 3-0 victory in the final set to win the match.

Van Barneveld has not played in the 2023 tournament. He got the chance to watch Meikle play and nearly throw away the match. Meikle has never progressed past the second round of the tournament. He reached the second round last year where he lost 3-0 to Peter Wright.

Van Barneveld is a former PDC World Darts Championship winner. The win came 15 years ago before the tournament reached its current height in popularity amongst fans. Can the Dutchman pick up a win?

Bookmakers expect the match to go over 3.5 sets. Odds on over 3.5 sets are at 2/5. However, bookmakers have over 4.5 sets at odds of 7/4. It is easy to see bookmakers believe the match will go exactly four sets. Meikle went to five sets before winning against Ashton in the previous round. Our betting tips prediction is for the rising English darts player to take the former PDC World Championship winner to five sets. The match should go over 4.5 sets.

In addition to the big second-round match between Raymond van Barneveld and Ryan Meikle, fans will get their first peak at the “Queen of the Palace” Fallon Sherrock. Sherrock is ranked No 143 in the PDC but is at No 8 in the World Darts Federation.

She is a former runner-up in the World Darts Federation World Championship and has a lot of potential on the big stage. Sherrock will play against Ricky Evans, the world’s No 42 ranked player in the PDC.

Evans reached the last 32 of the PDC World Darts Championship on four occasions. Sherrock reached the last 32 on one occasion. So, can the “Queen of the Palace” upset “Rapid”? It will be a difficult task for Sherrock. She goes into the match at odds of 3/1 while Evans is at odds of1/4 to pick up the win on Tuesday.

This is a first-round fixture, which means anything can happen. Our betting tips is to look at the total sets. The match is at odds of 11/8 to end with under 3.5 sets, while it is at odds of 8/15 to finish with over 3.5 sets. Sherrock has the quality to extend this match to four or five sets. She may not have enough quality to win the fixture, however.
