Southampton vs Leeds United Tips

Both teams to score – Bet Now

After matchday No. 1 in the Premier League, Southampton are at the bottom of the table. The Saints lost 4-1 to Tottenham away to kick off the campaign. Now, Ralph Hassenhuttl takes the Saints up against Leeds United.

Leeds United got a win on opening day at home defeating Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1. The Whites played well at times and were deserving of their three points. Both sides got onto the scoresheet on matchday No. 1 and both teams’ games finished BTTS.

Neither side is great at defending, but both can go forward. Our betting tips prediction is for both teams to score goals. The last time Southampton and Leeds United met in the Premier League, the game finished 1-1. Both teams conceded a lot of goals last season and Southampton have already allowed four this term.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Augsburg Tips

Bayer Leverkusen to win and over 2.5 goals – Bet Now

Bayer Leverkusen have dominated their head-to-head matches with Augsburg in recent seasons. The Company XI have a 5W-1D-0L record against Augsburg in their last six head-to-head matches. Each of their last two matches saw Bayer Leverkusen win and over 2.5 goals scored.

In 2021/22, Bayer won 4-1 and 5-1 against Augsburg in the teams’ two Bundesliga encounters. Four of the last six matches between these sides saw Bayer win and more than 2.5 goals.

Opening day was not kind to Augsburg. They lost 4-0 at home to Freiburg. Against a stronger attacking team like Bayer Leverkusen could see Augsburg give up another shed-load of goals.

Bayer Leverkusen also lost on opening day. The Company XI fell 1-0 to Borussia Dortmund in a hard-fought match. Gerardo Seoane’s team had chances, but couldn’t take them. This time around, Bayer Leverkusen should take their chances as they claim a win with over 2.5 goals against Augsburg.

Monaco vs Rennes Tips

Both teams to score – Bet Now

Monaco started the Ligue 1 campaign strongly with a 2-1 win against Strasbourg. The excitement at the Stade Louis II was tempered in midweek as Monaco were eliminated from the Champions League in the third qualifying round by PSV Eindhoven. Now, Philippe Clement’s team must rally as they welcome Rennes to the principality.

Rennes started the Ligue 1 season with a shock 1-0 loss to Lorient. The Black and Red would have been expected to win that fixture ahead of kick off. Now, Rennes are looking for their first points of the young campaign.

Monaco have had the upper hand in head-to-head meetings between these teams in recent seasons. Les Monegasque have a record of 4W-1D-1L against Rennes in the teams’ last six matches. All six of those games finished with both teams scoring and over 2.5 goals.

Games between Monaco and Rennes tend to see goals and this weekend’s match up at the Stade Louis II shouldn’t be any different. Monaco are on a three-game winning streak versus Rennes. While that win streak may not stay intact, both teams should score to continue the trend of goals between Monaco and Rennes.

Rangers vs St. Johnstone Tips

Rangers to win to nil – Bet Now

Rangers had a magical run in Europe last season to reach the Europa League final. The Blues of Glasgow are now on another magical European run, only this time in Champions League qualifying. Rangers came from 2-0 goals down on aggregate to defeat Belgium’s Union St. Gilloise on Tuesday.

Now, with Champions League playoff tie with PSV Eindhoven on the horizon, Rangers face St. Johstone in the league on Saturday. Matchday No. 3 in the Scottish Premiership is upon us and Rangers are seeking a third straight win to start the season.

Of course, Rangers and Celtic are tied at the top of the table and a win over St. Johnstone could send the Blues into sole possession of first place. Rangers defeated Livingston 2-1 and Kilmarnock 2-0. The Glasgow club is in good form and should pick up a win against St. Johnstone.

St. Johnstone go into the game with three points from six on offer. A 1-0 loss to Hibs was followed by a 2-1 away win at Motherwell.

Rangers have a record of 4W-1D-1L against St. Johnstone in the last six matches. The last two matches between these teams saw Rangers win to nil. Just three goals were conceded by Rangers to St. Johnstone in the teams’ last six matches. Our betting tips prediction is for a Rangers win to nil.

Millwall vs Coventry City Tips

Under 2.5 goals – Bet Now

The majority of games in the Championship this season have finished with under 2.5 goals scored. Seventeen of the 23 matches played so far finished with under 2.5 goals as scoring has been difficult to come by in the second division.

Millwall started the season with a 2-0 win against Stoke City before losing 2-0 to Sheffield United. Coventry City have played just once this season. They drew 1-1 with Sunderland away on opening day of the Championship season. Their matchday No. 2 game versus Rotherham United was postponed due to a poor playing service at the Coventry Community Building Society Arena.

Coventry City are coming off of a Carabao Cup match in midweek. The Sky Blues were throttled by Bristol City 4-1. Coventry City were out of the match after just 30 minutes. Our betting tips prediction is for this game between Millwall and Coventry City to be a low scoring game. This should finish with under 2.5 goals scored.

Coventry City have struggled in front of goal this season. Meanwhile, Millwall average just one goal per game in the division. Last season’s Championship matches between Coventry City and Millwall both ended with under 2.5 goals scored.
