VThere’s plenty of football action both at home and abroad on Friday and there looks to be a tasty treble to light up the night.
A £1 stake on our three-team accumulator could return £10.80 if all three selections win.
QPR to win - BET NOW
QPR have been severely hampered by financial restrictions for the last few seasons and once again they lost some key players in the summer.
Creative force Eberechi Eze left for Crystal Palace, while defender Grand Hall linked-up with Middlesbrough and loanee Jordan Hugill, who proved an excellent short-term signing, returned to his parent club.
However, boss Mark Warburton is a shrewd operator in the transfer market and he has managed to mitigate those losses. Talented winger Bright Osayi-Samuel has stayed in west London, for the time being, and he has been joined by Rob Dickie, Tom Carroll and Lyndon Dykes.
Carroll had a stormer in Rangers’ 2-0 win over Forest at the weekend and Dykes showed he has the physical presence to provide chances for those around him. That excellent opening day victory was achieved without Ryan Manning, who is one of QPR’s most impressive performers.
The left-back was left out of the squad due to a stand-off in contract talks but if he does return to the fold that will only further boost the Hoops chances of victory against Coventry.
The Sky Blues kicked-off life back in the Championship with a 2-1 defeat at Bristol City and while they can improve as the season progresses it may take Mark Robins’ side time to adjust to the second tier.
Utrecht to win - BET NOW
Venlo were involved in an eight-goal thriller on the opening day of the Eredivisie season but it may not be wise to get sucked in by that 5-3 victory.
The 24 goals Hans de Koning’s side managed last term was the lowest in the Dutch top flight and they could have a tough time finding the net at home to Utrecht.
The visitors weren’t far off a top-four place last season and they will be hoping to progress this term. John van den Brom has been able to add to his squad in the summer, with Eljero Elia joining from Istanbul Basaksehir and Mimoun Mahi making the move from FC Zurich.
That additional firepower and pace is likely to further improve an exciting Utrecht attack and they should be too hot for Venlo to handle.
Getafe to win - BET NOW
Getafe almost got themselves involved in a battle for Champions League qualification last season before falling away towards the end of the campaign but they still performed admirably.
Jose Bordalas' side were a little unlucky when losing to Inter at the last-16 stage of the Europa League last term and even more unfortunate to miss out on qualification for that competition by just a point.
However, they have shown they are a more than capable outfit and could prove too strong for Osasuna.
Pervis Estupinan was involved in everything good about Osasuna last season and the left-back helped them achieve a top-ten finish in their first season back in La Liga.
However, the Ecuadorian has departed the Estadio El Sadar and it may be difficult for Jagoba Arrasate’s side to repeat the highs of last season.
