The League One and Two play-offs are at the halfway stage and we will take a look at what might happen in the return legs with these play-off tips.
Shrewsbury to win @ 29/20 - BET NOW
The Shrews will take a one-goal advantage into the second leg of their play-off courtesy of Jon Nolan's superb volley and I can see them finishing the job in style at New Meadow.
Paul Hurst’s side finished the season 16 points clear of the Addicks and with a solid record on their own patch.
They won 14 and lost five games at home, scoring 32 goals and conceding only 17, while the Londoners lost nine on their travels during the regular season.
Lee Bowyer’s side won three consecutive games to reach the play-offs and it may well be taking its toll as the boss admits his men are jaded and he may make changes for the trip to Shropshire.
With that in mind, it would be no surprise to see the hosts cruise through to the final, with Shrewsbury looking to make the second tier for the first time for 29 years.
Scunthorpe to win @ 23/10 - BET NOW
The sides will be locked together at 2-2 when they kick off at the New York Stadium in midweek as The Iron scored through Cameron McGeehan and a Michael Ihiekwe own goal and the Millers had Jon Taylor and Joe Newell to thank for their goals.
The draw extended Scunthorpe's unbeaten run to nine games, eight of which have come under the interim management of Nick Daws, and their away form this term could see them through.
Ten of their 19 League One wins were away from Glanford Park and, despite the play-off odds on Rotherham winning being 6/5, I fancy them to claim the spoils and book their place at Wembley.
Exeter to win @ 8/5 - BET NOW
It is all to play for in the second leg of this one as the sides failed to find a goal between them at Sincil Bank on Saturday.
The Grecians earned the right to play the second leg on their own patch by finishing fourth and that may well make all the difference.
Another close encounter is expected at St James Park and much will be expected of striker Jayden Stockley, who has bagged 24 goals in all competitions for the South West outfit this term.
It may well be one goal that decides it and the prolific hit-man can make the difference, after he was blanked in the first encounter.
Exeter are strong at home but do not score many goals while the Imps score about one a game on their travels and play-off betting on the visitors should reflect that.
All form is usually thrown out of the window in play-offs but I can see the home side edging this one to march on to London.
