A healthy mix of jumps and Flat racing action features amongst five meeting across Britain and Ireland this Monday.

The all-weather card at Wolverhampton gets the ball rolling at 13:00, alongside jumps fare from Ludlow between 13.15 and 16.50 and a flat card from Brighton (14.10-17.20). Later on, Irish National Hunt racing is scheduled at Ballinrobe between 16.30 and 19.30 as they join the usual Monday night fun from Windsor on the flat.

Wolverhampton 14.00

Stormy Night to win and each-way - BET NOW

David Evans' colt Stormy Night took a nice step forward here last month when winning over C&D after a change of tactics were deployed. Shane Kelly made the running that day and the son of Charm Spirit relished the task at hand, coming home with more than three lengths to spare on his rivals.

He was turned over two-miles at Chepstow (soft) 10 days later and can count himself unfortunate to have bumped into an easy winner in Zillion. Stormy Night was, however, some 12-lengths clear of the third in Wales and he has fine claims back here from just a 2lb higher mark back on Tapeta.

William Buick gets the call to ride and, with a good draw and a chance to dictate again, this improving four-year-old is selected to double his Dunstall Park tally.

Brighton 16.10

Spring Glow to win and each-way - BET NOW

Andrew Balding's string continue to be in fine fettle - the trainer has a 22 per cent strike-rate over the last fortnight from 45 runners - and he can bag another winner at Brighton with Spring Glow.

The filly returned from her winter layoff to win at Wolverhampton (1m4f) in late April, quickening impressively off the home bend and maintaining the gallop all the way to the winning line to score decisively.

The Mukhadram filly receives weight from her rivals now back on turf and is fancied to make further inroads in her coming engagements. Jason Watson rides as well as anyone at Brighton in terms of winners and this filly is his only mount on the card. It can a prove a worthwhile visit to the seaside for him.

Ludlow 16.20

Our Rockstar to win and each-way - BET NOW

There isn't a great look of depth to this Amateur Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle, which is being run in memory of Lorna Brooke. Trainer Alistair Ralph has been amongst the winners recently and he's got some lively contenders on the Ludlow card. None more so than Our Rockstar, winner over C&D a fortnight ago on good-to-soft ground.

She came clear for that win and left her rivals coming in at wide intervals behind. Ben Bromley's 7lb claim negates the rise in the ratings dished out and - following a near miss last week at Huntingdon - the young rider finds another excellent opportunity in his quest for a first winner under rules. They should be good enough to add this prize with a repeat effort.
