With the halfway point of the season behind us, the Premier League table seems to be balancing out and here our football expert Jack Ogalbe offers his Premier League Tips for the relegation battle.

West Brom to be relegated @ 11/10 - BET NOW

With Swansea seemingly gone, all eyes are on West Brom to see how they fare. A first win under Alan Pardew at the weekend bodes well but their form before that will be a real worry.

Pardew is a manager renowned for engineering quick turnarounds but has struggled to eek much out of an unbalanced squad. A lack of January transfer action so far has sparked fresh fears, while much could depend on Jonny Evans' future.

Goals are a problem for the Baggies, as with just 18 they are the second lowest scorers in the division, but they have some decent personnel, and it is now up to Pardew to try and add some cohesion to their play.

Brighton to be relegated @ 15/8 - BET NOW

Brighton's wait for a place in the Premier League finally ended last May and an assured start prompted suggestions that they would have no troubles staying up.

However, pre-season fears over a lack of goals now appear well founded - netting just three times in their last eight - and their careful financial planning means they could struggle to attract the quality required to keep them up.

They have come in significantly in the Premier League odds and it could prove to be a long second half of the season on the south coast.

Newcastle to be relegated @ 11/4 - BET NOW

Since Amanda Stavely was spotted at St James' Park in October, Newcastle's fortunes seem to have been on the slide. The financier was expected to ride in on her white horse and wrench the club from Mike Ashley.

However, having been riding high back then, they have won just three times since and Rafael Benitez's frustrations about a lack of quality in his squad seem well-founded.

Business was expected in January but they are yet to make their move and the fans made their unhappiness known in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Swansea. Benitez is a fine manager but the lack of quality within his squad may well outweigh even his tactical acumen.

Huddersfield to be relegated @ 2/1 - BET NOW

There is always a team who sleepwalk into trouble and 14th place Huddersfield could be the contenders. Another of the promoted sides, their early promise has turned into despair and their naivety at the top level was exposed in Saturday's 4-1 defeat to West Ham.

David Wagner is a level-headed coach and is unlikely to panic about his side's run of two wins in 12. The signings of Alex Pritchard and the loan move for Terrance Kongolo will also inject quality into a squad that has had its confidence drained in recent months.

Whether or not that proves enough remains to be seen and on current form, they seem to be the team on the slide, conceding seven in their last two outings and it is no surprise they have drifted in the Premier League betting.
