Manchester City have already qualified as winners from Champions League Group A, but there is unlikely to be little let-up from Pep Guardiola's side when they go to an injury-hit RB Leipzig on Tuesday.

City are assured of their place in the last-16 after winning four of their five games, whereas Leipzig are third in the group going into the final matchday and will want to stay there to secure a Europa League place for after Christmas.

Manchester City to Win - BET NOW

With more riding on this game for the German side then, it's tempting to suggest this will end in a home win, which is available at 5/2, but this is City and their relentless form of late points to yet another win for them, on offer at 1/1, to finish the group stage in style. A point for each and a draw is rated a 3/1 chance.

RB Leipzig vs Manchester City Team News

Leipzig have plenty of players out. Midfielder Tyler Adams is available following suspension but Ilaix Moriba, Dani Olmo, Marcel Halstenberg, Marcelo Saracchi and Amadou Haidara are all absent.

Yussuf Poulsen is still struggling with a calf problem too and is a major doubt, while Willi Orban and Hugo Novoa have been ill.

As for City, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne have all recently returned to fitness and could get more vital minutes. Riyad Mahrez and Gabriel Jesus should return up front, while Oleksandr Zinchenko, Nathan Ake, Fernandinho and Zack Steffen will be among those all hoping for starts.

Ferran Torres is struggling with a foot injury still and will not be risked.

These two have only met once in a competitive fixture before and that was the earlier group game at the Etihad in which City ran out big 6-3 winners in the autumn. Christopher Nkunku hit a hat-trick for the Bundesliga outfit, while Grealish, Jesus and Ake were among the goalscorers on the night for Guardiola's men.

HT/FT - Draw/Manchester City - BET NOW

Saturday's 3-1 success at Watford was City's seventh win on the trot and, while a rotated squad might make for a more competitive game, Leipzig are likely to be on the end of another defeat. They may at least be able to hang on until half-time level but the visitors should take control thereafter.

Achim Beierlorzer, who is in interim charge of Leipzig, has inherited a side from Jesse Marsch that has won just one of their last four in all competitions, losing the other three. That victory was a 5-0 Champions League success at Club Brugge but this is clearly a step-up against the Premier League defending champions and current leaders.
