Bristol City vs Nottingham Forest Betting Tips

Hoping not to fall at the first in our treble are Nottingham Forest as they get set to visit a Bristol City side in freefall. The new manager bounce the Robins enjoyed following Nigel Pearson's appointment has quickly disappeared and they enter this game on a three-game losing run. 

City's form when just looking at their home results is even worse, losing seven on the spin at Ashton Gate and failing to score in all but one of those defeats. Forest will hope they are the next visitors to receive a warm welcome with their recent form suggesting they can pick up what would be a third successive win in the Championship.

Boss Chris Hughton has made Forest a tough side to beat, particularly on their travels, losing just two of their last 10 away games, while winning five times. No side has conceded as few goals on the road during that run (6) and Forest look to have the edge in this one at a big price.

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea Betting Tips

After the disaster that was last Saturday's 5-2 mauling by West Brom, Chelsea got back on track with a well-deserved 2-0 victory over Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday. That shocking loss to Albion looks to have been just a glitch in the Blues' Matrix as they kept a 13th clean sheet in their 16th outing under Thomas Tuchel against the Portuguese outfit.

Having got a strong grip of their Champions League quarter-final tie, the next goal for Chelsea is moving back into the top four in the Premier League after being leapfrogged by West Ham. With the Hammers not playing until Sunday, Tuchel's men can seize the initiative in the race for fourth by beating a Crystal Palace side who have little to play for.

The Eagles moved on to 38 points via Monday's 1-1 draw at Everton and with the threat of relegation almost extinguished, could well start to ease up in the coming weeks. Palace have lost the last six against Chelsea, including a 4-0 mauling in the reverse fixture, while they have only ever won two of 11 home Premier League meetings with their London rivals. 

Montpellier vs Marseille Betting Tips

Hopefully powering us over the finish line will be in-form Montpellier as they take on a travel-sick Marseille side at the Stade de la Mosson. After a poor start to the season, Montpellier are mounting a late charge for European qualification, sitting just four points outside the top five, while they are only three points adrift of Saturday's opponents.

Michel Der Zakarian's men are unbeaten in 12 in all competitions, while their form at home has picked up of late, winning three of the last four. Marseille are a team La Paillade have been happy to host in recent times, winning three of the last five on their own patch. 

Marseille will, therefore, not relish the relatively short trip down the south coast of France, particularly having found the going tough away from home. Their inability to pick up points on the road is a big reason why L'OM aren't in the mix for a Champions League spot, winning five out of 15 Ligue 1 away games. Marseille have lost the last three away from home, a run which includes an embracing Coupe de France defeat to four-tier Canet Roussillon and their fortunes are unlikely to improve in Montpellier.
