It is no surprise to see Ajax riding high in the Eredivisie standings and there has been a swagger to most of their performances this term, as they have scored a staggering 54 goals from their 15 league games to date, including a record-breaking 13-0 victory at VVV-Venlo back in October.

Erik ten Hag's side are also unbeaten in their last five top-flight away games, while they will also have revenge on their minds when they head to De Grolsch Veste, as Twente are the only side to have beaten them in their last 11 Eredivisie matches.

However, since that 2-1 victory at the Johan Cruyff Arena back in early December, Twente have suffered back-to-back home defeats to AZ Alkmaar and Sparta Rotterdam.

It could be a similar story for Ron Jans' side on Thursday, although they will at least hope to get on the scoresheet, given they have netted in all but two of their 16 matches across all competitions this season.

Arsenal enjoyed a return to form over the festive period and they will head into this London derby seeking a fourth-successive Premier League win and a potential return to the top-half of the standings.

The Gunners' recent resurgence has been built mainly on a resilient defence, as they have kept three clean-sheets on the spin, although their 2-0 extra-time victory over Newcastle in the FA Cup last time out showed there are still flaws in their attacking play.

While Mikel Arteta's side advanced in the FA Cup, Palace were knocked out of the competition after suffering a 1-0 defeat at Wolves and that loss forms part of an indifferent run for the Eagles, as they have won just one of their last seven games.

Goals have also been a problem for Roy Hodgson's team on the road, as they have failed to score in six of their 10 away games this season, including blanks in each of their last two, so backing an Arsenal win to nil could well be the way to go.

Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao Betting Tips

Los Blancos have rediscovered some consistency over recent weeks, as they are unbeaten in their last nine games across all competitions, winning seven of those matches, so they should head to Malaga for their Supercopa de Espana semi-final tie against Bilbao with plenty of confidence.

That belief will only be enhanced further given that Real are the defending Supercopa champions and they are unbeaten in their last 11 meetings with Los Leones, a run that includes a 3-1 victory when the two teams met in La Liga less than a month ago.

That defeat at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium forms part of what has been an indifferent run for Bilbao, as they have only won two of their last nine games and another defeat would appear to be on the cards at La Rosaleda on Thursday.
