West Ham v Liverpool Tips

- Created: 10:03, 3rd April 2014 | Last updated: 18:00, 4th March 2016

Liverpool could find themselves knocked off top spot by the time they kick off at Upton Park so the pressure will be on Brendan Rodgers’ men to grab the three points. West Ham are on a good run and won’t be easy to overcome so Tom Powell is tipping the Hammers on the asian handicap…

Tom’s recommended tip:

West Ham +1.0/+1.5 Asian Handicap @ 11/10 – BET NOW

Liverpool are as short a price as 4/11 to take all three points here which is way too short a price for a side that have just a 50% win record away from home this term.

Admittedly Liverpool are in great form and rightly should be favourites but West Ham will not be an easy side for them to overcome. The Hammers have won their last two matches and six of their last nine going further back while their recent home form reads four wins from their last five.

As for Liverpool, you can’t pick too many holes in their recent form but over the course of the season they’ve slipped up against lesser sides on a number of occasions. Aston Villa got a draw at Anfield not long ago while the likes of Hull, West Brom, Swansea, Newcastle and Southampton have had positive results against them this term. This selection doesn’t require West Ham to win the match, a draw would give you a full stakes profit while a one goal Liverpool win would even earn you a half stakes win so back West Ham to run the visitors close.

Premier League Preview

Despite being two points clear in the table (at the time of writing) Liverpool are second favourites to win their first ever Premier League title with a best price 15/8 available. Man City are the favourites at odds of 5/6 with second place Chelsea priced at 15/2. West Ham are all but safe after back to back wins and are in to 13/2 to earn a top half finish.
