The PGA Tour stays in Las Vegas for a second straight week as the field swaps TPC Summerlin for The Summit Club and the CJ Cup.

Sungjae Im closed with a 62 to claim last week's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open but the competition is set to be sterner this week, with a number of the victorious US Ryder Cup team returning to competitive action in Nevada.

The CJ Cup Betting Odds

The Ryder Cup stars unsurprisingly dominate the market, with nine of Steve Stricker's side ready to tee it up this week.

Dustin Johnson shares the lead in the betting alongside another Ryder Cup star in Xander Schauffele, with both available at 12/1. The latter was second in this tournament last year when it was held across town at Shadow Creek and clearly enjoys playing in the desert.

Justin Thomas, who won this event in both 2017 and 2019 when it was held in South Korea, is slightly longer at 14/1.

Open champion Collin Morikawa is 16/1 but there is also a decent European contingent at The Summit Club, with seven of the team from Whistling Straits present.

Rory McIlroy and Viktor Hovland lead the charge, at 22/1 and 28/1 respectively, while defending champion Jason Kokrak is a best-priced 50/1.

The CJ Cup Long Shot

Rasmus Hojgaard - Top 5 Finish - BET NOW

This is a real long shot, but Rasmus Hojgaard could be one to watch this week after receiving a sponsor's exemption.

Despite being just 20, he and twin brother Nicolai are both already European Tour winners and were namechecked by Ian Poulter as two players who could lead their continent's Ryder Cup resurgence after last month's defeat in Wisconsin.

Rasmus' most recent victory came at August's European Masters and while he missed the cut at the Shriners, an extra week to adapt to the conditions may benefit him.

The Billund-born starlet has an excellent all-round game and is unlikley to be fazed if he finds himself in the mix.

The CJ Cup Prediction

Xander Schauffele to Win - BET NOW

There's something to be said for Schauffele's form from the 2020 edition of this event. Only a third-round 74 curtailed his hopes and he will be gunning for a fast start to his new season.

The 27-year-old began last term with form figures of 5-2-T17-T17-T5-T2-T2 and he is in good form having taken three out of a possible four points at the Ryder Cup, his sole blip being his singles defeat to Rory McIlroy.

Schauffele is sure to be full of confidence after a strong summer that saw him crowned Olympic champion. Having come close last year, the Californian has to be respected.

Marc Leishman - Top 10 Finish - BET NOW

Consistent as they come, Marc Leishman might well be due a win but with the quality of the field, backing him for a top 10 finish may prove a more sensible option.

The Australian's results from his first two outings of the season read T5-T3 and he's shown a knack for ending his efforts on a high, closing the Fortinet Championship with a 65, before signing for a Sunday 63 at the Shriners.

That suggests he is one to watch as the week goes on and he has history in this tournament, having lost out to Thomas in a play-off back in 2017.
