PGA Tour 2019 RBC Heritage Betting Tips, Outsider Tips & Prediction

- 19:04, 16th April 2019
Dustin Johnson is our tip for victory at this year's RBC Heritage event.

After the excitement of Tiger Woods’ victory in the first major of the season at the Masters, the PGA Tour is back after just a few days off with the RBC Heritage in South Carolina.

2019 RBC Heritage Betting Tips

Dustin Johnson to win @ 16/1 - BET NOW

New world number one Dustin Johnson will be looking to go one better than his runners up spot in Augusta when he takes on the Harbour Town course at Hilton Head Island

Johnson is one of 40 players who were in action at Augusta who have committed to play the RBC Heritage.

Having not played the course in eight years, Johnson returned last year, finishing in a tie for 16th but since then he has four wins under his belt and last week's performance at the Masters shows he is worth considering when looking at the golf odds.

He will not need his extreme distance off the tee either as the average drive on the course last year was 273 yards, the second shortest on the tour.

2019 RBC Heritage Outsider Betting Tips

Ian Poulter to win and EW @ 35/1 - BET NOW

The Ryder Cup hero was in contention throughout most of the final day at Augusta and certainly has the belief he is good enough to win at the top level, even at the age of 43.

His record at Harbour Town is excellent with three top-10 finishes since 2015 and his current form is impressive as well.

The world ranked number 30 has four top 10s and three top 25s this season from eight starts so he is worth a look at each way this weekend, especially if he gets his short game going around the difficult small greens and the ability to keep the ball low in what is certainly going to be a wind-affected tournament by the coast.

2019 RBC Heritage Prediction

Luke Donald top 10 finish @ 5/1 - BET NOW

The Englishman missed out at Augusta as he has hardly featured for the past 12 months due to his own back problem but he appears to be over that issue now and ready to push himself back up the world rankings.

The former world number one is way down the pecking order at the moment with a ranking of 595th in the world but that is because he only played 10 tournaments last year due to his back problem

His record at the Heritage is excellent for someone who has never won it, with five second places and two thirds in his nine starts and he is my outsider betting tip of the weekend.
