After the history-making antics of Tiger Roll in Saturday's Grand National at Aintree, it's a more mundane offering to kick-start another week with racing coming from Redcar, Kelso (jumps) and Windsor - where the Monday's are back in business for another season!

We start our horse racing tips at Redcar, on their first meeting of the new term.

Monday Racing Tips from Redcar and Kelso

15:00 Redcar

International Man to win and each @ 10/1 - BET NOW

The first handicap on the card at Redcar looks to be competitive fare with 16 of them going to post.

Trainer Richard Fahey saddles a pair of runners and chances can be given to both International Man and Windsor Cross - though the former is favoured given the additional value available on early racing odds.

He's now rated 1lb lower than when winning a York handicap last summer and his final two efforts of last season were not to be sniffed at in good races. Connor Murtagh is in the plate this afternoon and can claim a very useful 5lb, further easing his mount's burden.

International Man is proven to go well fresh, ensuring that he's well worth supporting on his seasonal bow with conditions to suit.

Aforementioned stablemate Windsor Cross and the course specialist Give It Some Teddy are amongst those most likely to give him cause for concern seemingly.

15:30 Redcar

Flint Hill to win and each-way @ 14/1 - BET NOW

This is a wide-open contest with three last-time-out winners in the field; namely Forest Of Dean, Red October and Sameen.

The last-named was an easy winner at Beverley last autumn and returns from an 8lb higher mark but shouldn't be dismissed too quickly, while Forest Of Dean ran out a pleasing winner at Newcastle on the all-weather last month and comes here for his first start in a handicap with race-fitness on his side.

Both might be trumped however by Flint Hill for trainer Michael Dods and Paul Mulrennan, available at a much juicier price in the racing betting.

The winner of a nursery at Carlisle last summer over 7f on good to soft ground, he shaped as though a step up in trip was needed afterwards and gets the extra test of stamina now on his seasonal bow.

With the yard already amongst the winners in the early knockings of this new Flat campaign, he could be ready to hit the ground running.

14:40 Kelso

Benny's Secret win and each-way @ 7/2 - BET NOW

He's already a three-time course winner at trips up to 2m5f and Benny's Secret showed enough here recently on his return to hurdling to suggest he can add to that tally amongst our best racing tips for Monday.

He found only Ask Paddington preventing him from scoring around here 16 days ago and, indeed, likely would have got the verdict granted another few strides.

That was first outing in the hands of conditional rider Grant Cockburn and he stays on board now with Benny's Secret one of three runners for trainer Neil Alexander in this field. They can get the better of recent 2m5f good-ground course winner Sunny Destination.
