It's a big afternoon of racing at Haydock Park on Saturday and amongst the key races is the Grade 3 Betfair Exchange Stayers' Handicap Hurdle over and extended three miles.
Paisley Park won this in 2018 en route to triumphing in the Stayers' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival that year, and the upcoming renewal has attracted a bumper line-up of 17 runners.

Fergal O'Brien and Paddy Brennan have enjoyed a fine start to the season and they've got market leader Imperial Alcazar in this hot contest.
He won three of his four starts over hurdles last season from 2m4f-2m6f, including a Ballymore Trial at Cheltenham on New Year's Day. He's done his winning on soft/heavy ground and looks sure to get this new trip. He won first time out last season and there is almost certainly further progress to come from this mark of 140.
Challenging him for favouritism is Irish raider The Jam Man, a wide-margin and impressive winner of the Troytown Handicap Chase over this trip at Navan just 13 days ago. He's interesting for sure but it's no certainty he'll replicate that form back over hurdles. He's on a career-high mark and, despite Maxine O'Sullivan taking off 5lb, looks short enough in the betting.

Top-weight is carried by 2018 Betfair Hurdle winner and Supreme Novices' second Kalashnikov. Amy Murphy's runner enjoyed a fine first season over fences afterwards - including a Grade 1 novice at Aintree - but things went awry for him last term to a degree.
He's very capable of going well fresh and has undergone a wind op since last spotted at Newbury behind Altior in the Game Spirit in February. Given that he's never tackled the trip before, he's an interesting runner.
West To The Bridge is on the upgrade this season for the Skeltons and could have a say after his recent success at Carlisle while I K Brunel is fit from chasing and not unduly highly at 138 in the ratings, joining Fontwell winner and Olly Murphy-trained stablemate Collooney on the shortlist.

Alan King took this prize with Halcon Genelardais in 2006 and has the versatile Who Dares Wins in the mix now.
The eight-year-old won a Grade 2 novice over fences at Kempton in February, before struggling in the Ultima at Cheltenham a month later. Post-lockdown, he would return to land the Queen Alexandra Stakes over 2m5f at Royal Ascot in June and he has since contested the Goodwood and Lonsdale Cups in July and August.
He hasn't been over hurdles since the spring of 2018 but he ran a good fifth behind Delta Work in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham and then chased home The Jester Jet in a close third at Aintree that season.
His only two attempts at three miles have come around Cheltenham, and Haydock will surely hand him a better chance of getting this trip. Off a mark of 147, and with fitness on his side from those Flat exploits, he looks a solid each-way contender.
David Pipe's team are in good form and Main Fact is 8-8 in 2020, with five wins over hurdles from January to March before a hat-trick on the Flat over the last month on testing ground. He's 15lb higher than when he last won over timber at Uttoxeter (2m4f, heavy) but remains unexposed tackling this distance.
The 2018 Champion Bumper heroine Relegate has shown hints of coming good since joining Colm Murphy from Willie Mullins and, with first-time cheekpieces added, is another to monitor closely with Robbie Power on board.
