The 47th renewal of the Grade 1 Ballymore Hurdle kicks things off on the Wednesday of the Cheltenham Festival and with the betting market starting to take shape, there’s some each-way value in the ante post market.

1.30 Ballymore Hurdle

Next Destination to Win and Each-Way 8/1 @ BET NOW

Willie Mullins has an excellent record in this race having won four of the last 10 renewals with the likes of Faugheen and Yorkhill.

Next Destination is his most likely winner if he decides to send him here. He has options over two and three miles at the Festival with entries in the Supreme and the Albert Bartlett but having not run over either trip when hurdling, he could easily end up in this race.

The gelding produced a career best effort to win a Grade 1 at Naas last time out and he ran well here in the Festival bumper last year. The concern would be that he’s yet to win with good in the going description, but he looks an improved horse this year and a sounder surface should suit.
