Day two of the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday sees the Queen Mother Champion Chase as the feature contest.
Altior is the red-hot favourite in the Cheltenham betting to retain his crown and will be on most people's list of racing tips for day two in the Cotswolds.
Altior @ 4/9 - BET NOW
The reigning champion has never tasted defeat in 17 starts over jumps and is rapidly closing in on the record winning sequence of Big Buck's. He is a four-time winner at this track, with three Festival wins already under his belt.
He is the torch-bearer for jump racing and the sport's biggest star. This season he has won all three starts in good style, even proving his effectiveness on soft ground when he fended off Un De Sceaux in the Tingle Creek at Sandown.
There are no chinks in the armour of this horse and it would be a brave call to take him on in the Cheltenham odds.
In this race a year ago he had seven lengths to spare on Min, who once again appears as the most credible threat to his dominance. It will require a well below par effort from the Seven Barrows superstar to see the placings reversed.

Champ to Win and Each Way @ 5/2 - BET NOW
Altior's trainer Nicky Henderson can get day two off to a flying start by launching our Cheltenham tips with Champ – the JP McManus-owned runner named after the legendary AP McCoy.
'The Champ' was often a friend to punters and his equine namesake has been likewise. He's won four in a row over hurdles since a narrow defeat behind Vinndication back in January 2018 on his debut.
He's going from strength to strength in doing so and his form stacks up well. On his most recent start he won the Grade 1 Challow at Newbury in December, quickening nicely when asked to win his race.
Given the sheer strength in depth of Henderson's novice team, it is surely worth noting that the champion trainer elected to fire a long gun at the Ballymore in Champ. He's fancied to prove himself aptly named and get punters off to a flying start on day two.

Tiger Roll @ 11/10 - BET NOW
If Altior is this sport's torch-bearer then it might just be that Tiger Roll is the most loved horse in training. He is small in stature but huge in spirit and comes here with a favourites' chance of gaining his fourth Cheltenham Festival win.
He won the Triumph over two miles in 2014 and was back three years later to land the four-miler, a unique feat. It was last season that Tiger Roll elevated himself to cult status however.
He won this race and then went on to land the Aintree Grand National in a photo-finish. Trainer Gordon Elliott has pinpointed a return here and to Merseyside this season, though Tiger Roll defied him last month when landing a Grade 2 over hurdles in Ireland despite the trainer's belief he was 'only 75 per-cent fit'.
He's a terrific stalwart and will take a world of beating over this obstacle course.
