The US racing action comes from Gulfstream Park and Tampa Bay Downs on Friday, and we have picked out three picks across the two meetings that should go well.
Gulfstream holds an 11-race card, which begins at 18:00 at ends at 23:19, while there are eight races at Tampa Bay, beginning with the 17:24 and concluding with the 21:00.
Wordman - 5/2 - BET NOW
Our first betting tips comes from the 18:00 race at Gulfstream where we are backing Wordman at odds of 5/2.
No jockey has ridden more winners around Gulfstream Park than Luis Saez since April the 2nd and he can take the opening contest aboard Wordman.
Operating at a cool 21 per cent in that timeframe with a staggering 29 winners to his name, he is one of the best in the business.
This three-year-old Bodemeister colt was well supported on his first two runs, which came over five furlongs here. He was caught for early speed on both of those occasions and quite simply is not a sprinter.
Wordman really impressed with the way he finished off his race here last time, rattling home down the outside like a horse that will really appreciate a step up in trip and has just that tonight stepping up to the extended seven furlongs.
It is slightly concerning that the horse left Todd Pletcher and has his first run for Philip Serpe tonight but I'm expecting a huge run and a victory.
Fashion's Star - 6/1 - BET NOW
Secondly, we are taking a trip to Tampa Bay Downs for the 21:00 race where Fashion's Star at odds of 6/1 looks to be shining light amongst the field.
Fashion's Star, a Sea The Stars filly formerly trained in the United Kingdom, can land the final race of the evening at Tampa Bay.
Antonio Gallardo is always value for two to three lengths around this course, operating at 24 per cent around here since July the 1st, 2019.
She was a taking winner for Roger Charlton on debut at Newbury but finished down the field at Ascot on her second start.
She has not been seen on a racecourse since so fitness and well-being has to be taken on trust but if she has any of her former ability she should be winning a race of this calibre.
Trainer Claude McGaughey does extremely well at this track and has returned seven winners from his last sixteen runners which is a 41 per cent strike-rate. Don't be surprised if you see a late flood of money for this horse tonight.
Lady Noguez to win - 5/1 - BET NOW
Our tips is Lady Noguez at odds of 5/1 in the 23:19 at Gulfstream.
The last race of the night at Gulfstream is the 11.19pm and Lady Noguez should have more than enough to see off her rivals in the closing stages of the contest.
Robert Hess Junior is one of the best trainers around this venue and he acquired the 25-year-old superstar Tyler Gaffalione to ride this filly in the last.
Given her hold-up style, being drawn nine is of no concern whatsoever and she has caught the eye on more than one occasion this year, looking like a winner in waiting.
This will be her first run for her new stable and she has good course and distance form here of late. She hasn't finished outside the top four on her last four starts and if they go hard enough up front, she will reel them in late to land the spoils. If you can play her each-way, that may well be the safest bet.
