There are five Monday meetings to look forward to as the countdown to Ascot's Champions Day on Saturday begins.
Irish jumps racing comes from Kilbeggan (14:15-17:50) while it's Flat all the way in Britain. Yarmouth (12:45-16:25) gets things underway before Musselburgh (13:00-16:30) and Windsor (13:40-17:40) join in. Later on, the all-weather action comes from Wolverhampton (17:00-20"30).
Monday's Horse Racing Predictions
Refuge to win and each-way - BET NOW
These are a largely exposed bunch but Mick Easterby's Harbour Watch gelding Refuge is one that might have something more to offer. He didn't show much in a pair of 2019 runs but is now going the right way. The application of headgear is having a positive effect based on his all-weather efforts at Newcastle (6f) and Wolverhampton (5f) in recent weeks.
He made a tardy start at Dunstall Park last week and suffered interference as a result. However, Harrison Shaw's mount finished to good effect in making the frame for the first time behind the front pair in the betting (both of which raced on the pace).
If they can get away from the gates in good order, Refuge and Shaw should go well here, with the riders' 3lb claim further boosting their case.
Recent C&D winner Northern Society (raised 6lb for that win) and class-dropping Boudica Bay are amongst the dangers.
Aaddeey to win and each-way - BET NOW
A decent three-year-old handicap to get the card underway at Yarmouth and one in which recent Nottingham winner Aaddeey is fancied to take the next step up the ladder for the Simon & Ed Crisford stable.
The New Approach colt has clearly been showing promise at home as he came in for market support on debut at Goodwood (1m2f, good) last month, only to show plenty greenness on track as he finished second-best to odds-on favourite John Locke despite looking to be going best for a long way (re-opposing Opera Gift some four-lengths behind Aaddeey and has won since at Pontefract).
Aaddeey went to Nottingham 15 days ago and justified cramped odds in seeing off a more experienced and useful rival in Winter Thorn.
Softer ground colours the picture somewhat but he should handle conditions and looks to have plenty more to come now upped in distance.
William Buick remains a man in superb form in the saddle. He's got an excellent recent strike-rate and - ahead of a strong book of rides on this card - boasts a 25 per-cent strike-rate at Yarmouth this season.
Anna Of Lorraine to win and each-way - BET NOW
A Go Go produced a personal best when recording a third C&D win a week ago but might find this task beyond her with a penalty to carry.
That's chiefly down to the presence of Sir Michael Stoute's Anna Of Lorraine in the line-up. The Dutch Art filly spent the early autumn running over 7f-1m but looks to have plenty going for her as a sprinter, having won over 6f at this track last time out.
She had most of her rivals in bother on the home turn and while Inevitable Outcome closed her down late on, she was a worthy winner under William Buick.
She's rated 4lb higher for this contest but that mid-race pace should serve her well dropping to the minimum distance and also taking in a Class 5 contest. She's very much the one to beat in the Cheveley Park silks.
