There are four meetings on Monday and Rob Eddy has two racing tips from Pontefract and one from Windsor.
Run After Genesis win and each-way @ 9/2 - BET NOW
Wind surgery and some time to mature appear to have worked for Run After Genesis when he made a winning reappearance/handicap debut last month at Kempton (7f, all-weather).
In truth it wasn't a shock to find his ability coming out. The 15,000gns yearling by Archipenko being a half-brother to a 1m3f winner out of an Italian mare successful at up to 1m2f, he was always likely to come forward this year and, with his win behind him, it's not a surprise that he goes up in trip now.
Though he went off at 12/1 for that Kempton success, he was by no means untouched in the racing betting, with a better effort clearly anticipated by connections.
The form of his win stands up to scrutiny, with the second having been just touched off from 3lb higher in a better class of race next time and the third, Pentland Lad, scoring back-to-back wins at Kempton in two starts since. With the potential of more to come now back on turf, remaining in Class 6 fare, Run After Genesis goes into our racing tips to defy a 4lb ratings rise and score from this mark.
Tynecastle Park win and each-way @ 7/4 - BET NOW
The Robert Eddery-trained Tynecastle Park has developed into a smart stayer on the all-weather scene since last summer. A winner over an extended two-miles at Southwell in August, he didn't achieve a lot in three runs over hurdles afterwards but has posted figures of 27211 in five starts since the dawn of 2019.
He's now boasting a strike-rate in excess of 21 per-cent on the all-weather and clearly gets on well with claiming rider Darragh Keenan, who will be taking 5lb off here.
Tynecastle Park has gone up 3lb for his latest Southwell success over 2m½f at the end of March, but the manner in which he scored bodes well. He got to the front with a minimum of fuss and pulled out some more when a challenger came to him late on.
This extra distance should be within his wheelhouse and the in-form six-year-old is amongst Monday's best racing tips.
Foxtrot Knight win and each-way @ 7/2 - BET NOW
Foxtrot Knight was a C&D winner in May last year for trainer Ruth Carr and has generally run well in all four starts at this Yorkshire layout.
The seven-year-old handles all ground types and is perfectly drawn in stall two for this sprint contest. He made an encouraging start to 2019 when close second on the all-weather at Wolverhampton 16 days ago and should now be primed for this turf return.
He runs from the same mark this evening, which is 3lb below the one he scored from here 11 months ago and he makes solid appeal at his forecast racing odds for this event, given his liking for Pontefract.
