14:15 Hexham

Kitty Fisher to Win and Each Way @ 4/1 - BET NOW

Trainer Sandy Forster's charge has shown improved form since switching to the larger obstacles and she has registered a victory and two third-place finishes (including in a three-runner contest) from three outings over fences.

The nine-year-old mare performed well when beaten by nine-and-a-half lengths in a 2m4f novices' handicap chase on good ground here on her penultimate start while she followed that up with an impressive 9L victory over the same course and distance on good-to-soft going at the start of this month.

The selection showed she handles ground with a bit of cut in it that day and while the going is likely to be softer here, she has won on the forecast soft ground in point-to-point company back in 2017.

The daughter of Scorpion has been given a 10lb rise for her victory of a fortnight ago but she looks capable of defying that while the drop in distance shouldn't inconvenience too much with useful jockey Thomas Dowson taking over in the saddle from a 7lb claiming conditional.

14:40 Chester

Gravistas to Win and Each Way @ 10/3 – BET NOW

Mark Johnston's charge has shown good form since stepping up in distance this season and he broke his maiden at the sixth time of asking when winning a good-to-firm ground 1m4f handicap at Newmarket by 2L a week ago.

Prior to that the colt had placed second over this extended 1m4f in a good-to-soft ground contest at Musselburgh at the start of this month and the form of that race looks decent enough with the well held fourth finishing a good third at Haydock subsequently.

Gravistas has proven himself to be a versatile sort tactics wise, racing from off the pace on his first two starts of this year while he raced prominently under top jockey Ryan Moore last time out.

Drawn in stall two, the son of Dansili has options with regards to tactics and he looks likely to be able to grab the lead should jockey Franny Norton opt to do so from his good draw while he is bred to appreciate the forecast soft going.

The three-year-old is a half-brother to the useful middle-distance performer Greatwood and he can defy a 5lb rise for his Newmarket victory to double his career tally in what looks a competitive handicap.

16:10 Bath

Peace Dreamer to Win and Each Way @ 7/2 – BET NOW

Robert Cowell is 0/25 in recent weeks but his Peace Dreamer has shown a liking for this venue in the past and she can get the Newmarket-based handler back in the winners’ enclosure in this sprint handicap.

The selection was a winner on good ground over this C&D in May last year while she performed well when beaten a short-head over 5f on firm going on seasonal debut here three weeks ago.

The daughter of Sir Prancealot is well drawn in stall four and, with the extra half-furlong, she can return to winning ways by registering a victory under Hayley Turner.
