With seven meetings set to take place we have three tips on the Flat including one in a Listed contest in Ireland.

Acclaim The Nation to Win and Each Way @ 5/2 - BET NOW

Acclaim The Nation, the winner of three of his eleven starts to date, can add a fourth victory to his resume by taking what looks a competitive 5f sprint handicap.

The selection was a winner over this trip at Thirsk (good-to-firm) when wearing cheekpieces for the first time a month ago and followed that up with a good third over the same C&D later that month.

The form of that latest effort is working out well with the winner Tanasoq scoring on both subsequent appearances, most recently when registering a success in a valuable 5f contest at Epsom on Derby day.

Acclaim The Nation looks likely to be granted a relatively easy lead in this contest and while he has to defy a mark 6lb higher than for his latest success, he looks capable of doing so, with the booking of jockey Tom Eaves catching the eye with this being his first ride for Eric Alston since winning on Casterbridge at Newcastle last November.

Priscilla’s Dream to Win and Each Way @ 7/2 – BET NOW

Philip McBride’s charge made just the three appearances at two, including when finishing third over this 6f trip on the all-weather at Chelmsford in September, while she acquitted herself well when finishing tenth in a valuable sales race over this distance at Newmarket on her final start of the campaign.

The daughter of Bated Breath is improving with racing this season and stepped up on her two-length fourth over 6f at Yarmouth on good-to-firm ground on her return to action by finishing a head second again over this trip at Leicester (good) recently.

Those two efforts mark the selection’s only handicap form so far and she looks capable of improving further.

With a few of these likely to want to race close to the pace that should suit Priscilla’s Dream, who has raced from off the pace in recent starts, and a victory here can see her improve on trainer Philip McBride’s 28% strike-rate (2/7) at this venue in recent years.

Mamba Noire to Win and Each Way @ 11/2 – BET NOW

Mamba Noire made up into a useful juvenile last season, placing in Group company over 6f at The Curragh (good) in July and subsequently at Newmarket over the same trip on good-to-firm ground later that month.

The daughter of Wootton Bassett ended her season the following month with a third in a Group 2 contest at York (6f, good-to-soft) when wearing a visor for the first time and that form is working out well with the winner romping home in a Listed contest recently and the second placing in Group 1 company last autumn.

The selection is the sole three-year-old in the line-up here and there is cause for optimism with regards to the step up in trip with a couple of half-siblings effective over this distance in France, and she looks capable of taking this Listed contest on seasonal debut.
