There is jumps racing on Tuesday afternoon coming from Kelso and Leicester while later in the evening there is an all-weather card at Newcastle to look forward to.

15:10 Leicester

Falcon Sun to Win and Each Way @ 4/1 - BET NOW

Having been a bit of an underachiever in late in 2017 and early last year, a wind operation would appear to have worked the oracle for Falcon Sun.

He improved on his second start after the procedure at Hereford in November and then came here to score decisively over C&D in early December, having a handy five lengths to spare on his rivals.

He scored that afternoon off a mark of 108 and did so whilst failing to clear the final jump fluently.

There should be more to come and a 7lb penalty looks far from insurmountable here, especially given the super vein of form Team Skelton is in.

The yard has a 29% strike rate from 31 runners lately, while rider Dan Skelton is 6-27 recently.

Boasting a 26% strike-rate together at Leicester, the Skelton brothers are fancied to notch another course success and Falcon Sun is a good place to begin today's racing tips.

12:55 Kelso

PC Dixon to Win and Each Way @ 9/1 - BET NOW

PC Dixon has managed just the one win from 16 starts over timber but he's been fairly consistent in his efforts (placed seven times) and might be worth siding with in the racing betting here with fitness on his side now after two runs.

He almost certainly needed the outing at Catterick in December when returning from eight months on the sidelines and duly built on that earlier this month at Newcastle when running just over five-lengths fourth in a fair handicap.

He's been eased by the handicapper for that run and now looks to be on a workable mark. With that effort in mind, this race should be ideal and the six-year-old is also likely to be suited going up in distance with his stamina proven beyond this trip.

16:45 Newcastle

Trevithick to Win and Each Way @ 3/1 - BET NOW

Bryan Smart's Trevithick has shown a liking for the all-weather circuit at Newcastle and now boasts track figures of 21281 having scored around here early in the New Year. The blot on his copybook came when tackling 1m2f and he showed again last time that the mile is his optimum.

That was only his second start in an all-weather handicap and there is seemingly more to come, given that there was an inevitability about his late challenge last time being a winning one.

He has gone up what looks a fair 2lb for his troubles and is fancied to justify his prominence in the racing betting for this follow up.

A mark of 87 shouldn't be the ceiling of his ambitions and Graham Lee's mount looks well placed to take care of main market rival Rev Loop, second over C&D last time and in danger of meeting a similar fate now.
