There are four meetings in the UK on Wednesday and Rob Eddy has racing tips from Newmarket and Cheltenham.
Gifted Master @ 7/1 Win and Each-way BET NOW
Brando is sure to be a popular choice for punters at Newmarket on Wednesday as he bids for a third renewal of the Group 3 Abernaut Stakes after successive wins in recent years but this looks like an above average renewal and it might be worth taking a chance on another course specialist to cause an upset at a bigger price.
Gifted Master is the horse in question, and he could prove to be the value play with race fitness already on his side. The six-year-old shaped like he needed the run when last seen at Meydan in Dubai but many of the yard's runners are in need of their first outing of the season and he ought to strip fitter here in a lesser race.
The gelding has an impressive six from 11 record at this venue and in addition has another two second placed efforts to his name. The fast ground is another factor in his favour, as seen when he produced something close to a career best when winning off top-weight in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood last August and with little other pace in the race from his main rivals, he ought to be able to bag the rail; something that was an obvious advantage on Tuesday with several winners coming up the rail having been ridden prominently.
The short-priced favourite Brando is the obvious danger and it's hard to knock his chance in the main part, but there would be a fear that he may struggle if he gets too far back and he would probably have preferred a bit more cut in the ground here, something that can't be said about the selection.
Confiding @ 18/1 Win and Each-way BET NOW
Martyn Meade enjoyed an excellent 2018 campaign and his runner Confiding was one of the highlights, placed twice in Group company.
The son of Iffraaj has been a little forgotten about in the market for this race on his return to action and his performance at Sandown when last seen was a respectable effort, despite being no match for Too Darn Hot.
Conditions have come in his favour here and with the step up in class likely to suit, he may be able to outrun his current each-way price.
Got Away @ 20/1 Win and Each-way BET NOW
The final meeting of the season takes place at Cheltenham and Got Away could be a bit overpriced at 20/1 given her penchant for quicker ground.
She's admittedly found life tougher from her revised handicap mark after her win in a three-runner contest at Leicester in February but it's too soon to be writing her off, particularly on her favoured surface. The yard are going well at present and at 20/1 she makes each-way appeal.
