Saturday's Horse Racing Predictions

Check our out three horse racing betting tips from the French race track Auteuil.

Nanosecond to win - 11/4 - BET NOW

One of the most recent flagbearers for French jumps racing was Doctor Dino and it doesn't seem too long ago that he was dominating contests. However, he has been covering mares for a few years now and one of his progeny, Nanosecond, has made a great start to her career.

Winner of two of her first four outings, Nanosecond seems to be improving all the time for trainer Francois Nicolle and is taken to record the hat-trick in the Rochefoucauld Chase.

Connections have wasted no time getting her over fences and she was mightily impressive when winning on debut in the sphere in March. She crossed the line two lengths ahead of the reopposing Gochetial that day and there is no reason to see that form being reversed.

James Du Berlais to win - 4/1 - BET NOW

The Listed Prix Le De Mezaubran looks a competitive affair and that could mean James Du Berlais goes off at a reasonable price.

Robert Collet's runner has won just once from seven career outings but that victory came over this course and distance last November, where he destroyed a decent field by ten lengths.

James Du Berlais should be favourite based on that one piece of form and although he was beaten on his return two months ago, again over this course and distance, he beat 14 of his 15 rivals and ran with plenty of encouragement.

He loves it here and will have improved for that effort.

Nimes to win - 1/1 - BET NOW

An exciting three-year-old colt, Nimes won well on debut at Compiegne in January and is expected to have come on leaps and bounds for his first outing in public.

Trained by leading jumps handler Guillaume Macaire, Nimes was punted before his first career start and travelled well throughout on the shoulder of the leaders. Rider James Reveley grabbed the nearside rail and it was game over from there on, as Nimes pulled clear before the last hurdle.

He looked a bit clueless coming to the last flight but got over it in some sort of style and regained his momentum to win cosily at the line.

Nimes has to give 2lb to all but one rival this time but granted natural improvement, he is clearly the one they all have to beat.
