A whopper day of racing action ahead on Saturday with six meetings comprising 45 races across Britain and Ireland.

An early start at Aintree (11.15-15.15) gets things going before further jumps cards at Navan (11.30-15.28), Chepstow (11.38-15.45), Wetherby (11.52-15.22) and Sandown (12.05-15.35) before Wolverhampton (16.00-19.00) on all-weather brings down the curtain.

We've selected three horses to follow on Saturday.

Aintree 14.05

Imperial Aura to win and each-way - BET NOW

The Many Clouds Chase is the chief supporting act to the Becher Chase at Aintree and a good field of eight go to post. The earlier start time should help alleviate any low sun worries, which proved no help to Native River in defending his crown 12 months ago.

He goes well fresh and has to be respected but this is the deepest renewal of this race he has contested and he's not getting any younger, now aged 11.

Paddy Power Gold Cup second Protektorat is a player, but maybe Imperial Aura is the one being overlooked.

Kim Bailey's charge was still going along nicely in the Betfair Chase when he came down a fortnight ago. He must take his fences with more care but, overall, he has good technique and while his stamina is not proven, getting this trip around here is a good place to show he can do it.

On his second run back from wind surgery, look for Imperial Aura to bounce back from Haydock disappointment in fine style.

White Pepper to win and each way -  BET NOW

This Listed Juvenile Hurdle brings together a smart bunch of fillies, the likes of Aliomaana, Kalma and Malakahna amongst them, but Irish pair Six Feet Apart and White Pepper look very dangerous.

Winners in their homeland, they have more to offer and it's Galway scorer White Pepper for Gavin Cromwell that may prove best. She hosed up in that maiden hurdle six weeks ago on her second start over hurdles and collateral form gives her an advantage on Joseph O'Brien's Fairyhouse winner Six Feet Apart.

White Pepper was rated in the 80s on the Flat previous and that pedigree gives her a real shot at excelling over the Aintree turf. This could be a good piece of placement by her shrewd trainer.

Sandown 14.25

Chacun Pour Soi to win and each way - BET NOW

We didn't get to see the real Chacun Pour Soi at Cheltenham in March when he was behind Put The Kettle On and Nube Negra in the Champion Chase. He meets the latter again in the Tingle Creek and a more aggressive policy is likely for the Willie Mullins-trained multiple Grade 1 scorer.

His best asset is fast and efficient jumping, the sort that drags rivals into a battle they cannot win, and he didn't really try that in the Cotswolds where he cantered to the last before losing a sprint up the hill under Paul Townend.

Sandown's famous Railway Fences should give him a tremendous platform to showcase that ability and in Patrick Mullins he has a rider not afraid to let him loose. If that's how it does indeed play out, he can leave his Tingle Creek rivals gasping for air well before the finish and see it out from a handsome position in the home straight.
