A Sunday treat for racing fans with an eight-race offering from Ascot that includes a pair of Group 3 races for the fillies.

Sunday's Ascot Predictions

The action gets underway at 12.45 and runs right through until 16.50, and we have made three selections from an intriguing card.

Billesdon Brook to win and each-way - BET NOW

The unbeaten Miss O'Connor would be a huge player granted some give underfoot but it seems unlikely that she will get that now for the in-form William Haggas team and it won't be a major surprise if she misses out completely.

In any case, she'd be facing comfortably her biggest test thus far with the dual Group 1-winning miler Billesdon Brook in here for the Richard Hannon team.

Her 66-1 success in the 1,000 Guineas of 2018 has seemingly resulted in the Champs Elysees mare never quite getting the credit she deserved. Last year she issued plenty reminders of her quality, including victory in a Glorious Goodwood Group 3 (good) and her second top-tier success via the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket (good to soft).

She's been busy this summer and almost won her third Group 1 at HQ last time when a neck-second to Nazeef in the Falmouth. Dropping into Group 3 fare, she is the one they all have to worry about.

Caroline Dale to win and each-way - BET NOW

More Beautiful made a fine winning start in Ireland last month over 5f and, as a consequence, was backed as though defeat was out of the question in the Queen Mary here soon after. She was never going the pace in that Group 2 and, while her debut win has worked out quite well, she has to bounce back now.

David Loughnane's Caroline Dale was a 100-1 outsider in that same Royal Ascot contest but finished a very creditable third (three-lengths ahead of More Beautiful) just fading late on behind Wesley Ward's Campanelle and Sacred.

She's one of five Queen Mary runners to win next-time-out and she did so in a good time at Windsor, despite Hollie Doyle having to make the running on that occasion.

She was game when the challengers arrived and wasn't stopping at the line, so this extra furlong shouldn't be a concern and she's fancied to confirm the Queen Mary form with Aidan O'Brien's market leader.

Tiger Crusade to win and each-way - BET NOW

David Simcock's Tiger Crusade is readily fancied to back up his handicap debut success at Doncaster three weeks ago despite the 6lb rise.

The No Nay Never colt made effortless progress in that race to join the front ranks, with Callum Shepherd seemingly looking for dangers before Society Lion stole a march with a move on his outside to strike the front.

Tiger Crusade was immediately asked to go after that rival and he got to work, eventually winning a neck, doing very well in the circumstances having given first run to Sir Michael Stoute's fellow Yarmouth novice winner, who also boasted a fitness advantage that day.

That was his first run for 292 days and this promising three-year-old likely has plenty more to offer; he can make it three wins from four career starts with Jim Crowley taking over in the saddle.
