Three race meetings are scheduled for Sunday afternoon across Ireland and the United Kingdom, though the wintry conditions could yet scupper those plans.

Hereford (13:20-16:20) must survive an inspection for their jumps card, though Thurles (13:30-16:30) appears set to get the all-clear. All-weather racing meanwhile comes from Lingfield (12:40-16:10) - the focus for two of Sunday's selections.

Narjes to win and each-way - BET NOW

Mick Appleby's mare Narjes is lurking on a very tempting mark for this Class 6 affair, especially if the application of a first-time visor brings about some extra pep in her step.

She scored over C&D in October on first start for this trainer after joining from Laura Mongan, where she had been winless since January 2019. That winning bow for Appleby saw her getting to the front in good style before the furlong-pole before idling late on and just about holding out for the win.

Things haven't quite gone her way since, but she has continued to run sound races in defeat, often when having viable excuses at crucial times in her races.

She has now dropped to within 1lb of that previous win-mark and has the assistance of Tom Marquand for the first time. With the visor to help and three of her four career wins achieved over C&D, she looks set to give this a rattle.

Enjoy D'Allen to win and each-way - BET NOW

Jack Dillinger finally got on the scoresheet over fences when he won at this course five weeks ago and the Joseph O'Brien inmate has to be taken seriously in his attempt for the follow-up. Equally, Key Commander improved markedly on his handicap bow over 3m1f (soft) here on that same card just before Christmas to win with plenty up his sleeve. The assessor took a dim view and he's 12lb higher today, but should play his part in the finish.

Enjoy D'Allen might trump them both, however. He has taken nicely to chasing and had finished second three times on the spin for Peter Fahey before making a winning start for his new handler Ciaran Murphy at Fairyhouse (2m5f, heavy) last weekend.

Conor Orr struck up a nice partnership with him there and is good value for his 3lb claim in this handicap debut where the Network gelding may well prove equal to the challenge.

Mummy Bear to win and each-way - BET NOW

The Hulk wasted no time opening his account on debut over C&D earlier this month for trainer George Boughey. He was game in the finish and looks a sure-fire improver now, but this is tougher carrying a penalty.

Touchwood has shown ability in four runs, but Charlie Hills' colt has passed up decent opportunities at this track and Kempton in his two most recent appearances (favourite in both) and is becoming expensive for his backers to follow. He has races in him in all probability.

So, too, should Mummy Bear for the Richard Hannon team. She ran an encouraging race at Chelmsofrd in November on debut despite being an unfancied 14/1 chance in the betting. She will have learned plenty from that run in a race that has thrown up a couple of subsequent winners.

There's surely progress in the Kodi Bear filly and she's getting plenty if weight from those market principles, even before factoring in Thore Hammer Hansen's claim.
