There are six meetings down for decision on Thursday on another busy racing day across the UK and Ireland.
Thursday's Horse Racing Predictions
Stratford (12:35-16:06) gets things underway with their jumps meeting and they are joined by Newton Abbot (13:28-16:28) and Clonmel (13:20-16:20) over the obstacles.
There is a trio of all-weather cards on offer as Lingfield (12:45-16:15) precedes evening fare at Chelmsford City (17:00-20:30) and Southwell (16:45-19:45).
Our horse racing predictions have selections from Lingfield, Chelmsford and Southwell.
With the hat-trick seeking Chocoya now out of the race, this looks a decent opportunity for She's A Lion to open her account at the third time of asking for trainer Mark Johnston.
The filly made the frame on her debut over 7f at Kempton when a relatively unfancied 8/1 shot earlier this month and clearly saw the benefit of that run when going a place better at Catterick (7f, soft) 12 days ago.
She couldn't overhaul the front-running favourite Cable News under a good ride from Paul Mulrennan but managed to come more than five lengths clear of everything else in settling for second best.
There's likely more to come from her and she can account for the 75-rated Mariance en route to getting on the scoresheet.
A sprint handicap to start the evening at Chelmsford and a contest in which Edge Of The Bay and Indian Pursuit both arrive seeking compensation after near misses on Saturday's card over course and distance.
John Quinn's runner produced his latest consistent effort of a strong 2020 season and was unfortunate to be worn down in the dying embers by Trouser The Cash.
Edge Of The Bay meanwhile was foiled by the hat-trick achieving and progressive Smokey, having shown good pace to lead and a willing attitude to engage in a battle when required.
He lost little in defeat and, with both horses getting in here from unchanged marks, is deemed to have more scope for better given his low mileage and the fact he went down to a clearly progressive rival on Saturday.
Hughie Morrison's Curtiz was runner-up over C&D a fortnight ago behind a well-handicapped rival and might be able to go a place better having confirmed his likeness for this Fibresand surface in that run.
He has gone close over 7f in a novice race last year and held off the remainder despite being unable to repel Xcelente, the 6/4 favourite who was officially 3lb 'well-in' for that contest.
Curtiz races from an unchanged mark in this race and sports first-time blinkers, which may bring about further improvement from a colt with only six starts behind him.
