Thursday brings along six racing meetings in a busy day across the UK and Ireland.

Thursday's Horse Racing Predictions

It's a midday start at Market Rasen (12:00-15:50) and they are joined by jumps cards at Sedgefield (12:10-16:00), Thurles (12:15-15:32) and Newbury (12:20-16:15) before evening all-weather fare from Kempton (16:25-20:30) and Chelmsford (16:45-19:45).

Thursday's horse racing predictions take us first to Newbury where Jonjo O'Neill has a promising hurdler on show.

12:55 Newbury

Soaring Glory to win and each-way - BET NOW

Soaring Glory won two of his three starts in bumpers last season for Jonjo O'Neill, meeting only with defeat when second in a heavy-ground Listed affair at Ascot just before Christmas. He didn't reappear in the spring, but was well found in the market for last month's hurdling debut at Chepstow (2m, good) where he went off 4/5 fav under the trainer's son.

He went through the race with real style and purpose and, while Harry Cobden sought to try and steal the prize on Bravemansgame by going on from three-out, Soaring Glory covered the move and ran him down somewhat cosily in the dash for the line after the jumping was completed.

It was a polished performance, the front pair some 11 lengths clear of the remainder, and the runner-up franked the form when easily scoring at Exeter on Tuesday for the Paul Nicholls yard.

Soaring Glory looks to be going places as a novice hurdler and can give away his penalty en route to making it 2-2 over timber.

14:40 Market Rasen

Ballycrystal to win and each-way - BET NOW

It's been a while between drinks for Ballycrystal, whose most recent success came over fences in March 2018 for trainer Brian Ellison at Carlisle off a mark of 130 in a novices' contest. That was to prove a false dawn as he completely lost his way over fences afterwards, failing to give his true running over the next 12 months before departing that trainer.

He didn't really shine last season in three hurdles run for Micky Hammond but, after a couple of runs in September to blow off the cobwebs, he ended that month with a good second at Sedgefield (2m4f, good) behind Cathal's Star under Becky Smith.

That was a step in the right direction and, raised the minimum, he can take close rank in this contest from a mark of 97 judged on the promise he showed as a novice over timber if that run 37 days ago was indeed the sign of a resurgence.

19:30 Kempton

Molivaliente to win and each-way - BET NOW

Lightly-raced C&D winner Molivaliente took the eye on his reappearance here at Kempton early last month in a Class 4 contest, staying on from the rear to finish fourth in a style that suggested he'd be worth tracking.

He was duly sent off favourite on his next start at Chelmsford under Andrea Atzeni, but that was a race in which he proved keen and was forced to make his challenge wider than ideal before fading late on.

It may be worth forgiving that effort and, back here in a Class 5 company with the handicapper having dropped him 2lb, look for him to come fast and late under a typical Jamie Spencer ride.
