Six meetings come up on Thursday with an even spread of afternoon/evening racing taking us through the day.

Worcester (13:00-16:45) kicks things off with their jumps meeting and they are joined by afternoon Flat racing from Ripon (13:55-17:15) and Haydock (14:15-17:35).

The evening fare comes from Limerick (16:20-20;10) over jumps, alongside Carlisle (17:30-20:50) and Sandown Park (17:45-20:30).

18:50 Sandown

Ocean Wind to win and each-way - BET NOW

A Group 3 treat on Sandown's evening card as Ocean Wind looks to rubber-stamp his Ascot Gold Cup credentials by winning the Henry II Stakes at the Esher venue.

He clashes once again with Nayef Road, having collared Mark Johnston's charge late on last month at Ascot in the Sagaro Stakes as they filled out the places behind Stradivarius.

Ocean Wind - second at Nottingham previous to that behind Sir Ron Priestly - was strong through the line in that run to nail Nayef Road for second late on and, as such, last year's impressive Cesarewitch winner looks sure to relish this slight increase in trip.

Nayef Road, meanwhile, ran an underwhelming race this month at York and may again have to settle for a bit-part role now, something he has become accustomed to. Victory here will set Ocean Wind on a path for the Gold Cup next month.

15:55 Haydock

Tantastic to win and each-way - BET NOW

Brian Ellison's maiden Tantastic has twice made the frame on the all-weather in three starts this year and should be getting on the scoresheet somewhere before too long.

The Mayson gelding followed home a 91-rated rival at Wolverhampton earlier this month, really giving the odds-on jolly something to think about and seemingly improving for the fitting of cheekpieces in doing so.

The headgear is retained today for the switch back to turf and Tantastic must prove himself as effective on the slowest ground he's encountered thus far. If he does that, a 3lb rise for his latest effort could prove lenient.

He's worth chancing, with forecast favourite and hat-trick seeking Dan De Light amongst plenty runners in this line-up untested on this slow surface.

16:05 Ripon

Camerily Joe to win and each-way - BET NOW

The form choices for this Ripon sprint are Camerily Joe, The Princes Poet and Driftwood. The latter remain maidens, however, and preference is for Nigel Tinkler's gelding to bag a second win in his three starts this season.

After a reappearance effort at Redcar that seemed needed, Faye McManoman and Camerily Joe came with a piercing late run to get the win at Wolverhampton over 7f last month - form that was advertised since with a pair of next-time-out winners emerging.

Camerily Joe, meanwhile, was unlucky not to score again 11 days ago over this C&D on similarly testing ground to what is forecast today.

McManoman's mount was pulled out to come and challenge but the eventual winner had the running rail to assist and wasn't for passing - the pair moving more than four-lengths clear of everything else. Racing from an unchanged mark now, this three-year-old gelding has a fine chance of another victory.
