Five race meetings across Britain and Ireland on Tuesday come from Hexham (14:10-17:50, jumps), Kempton (15:55-20:10, all-weather), Redcar (13:15-14:50, Flat), Yarmouth (13:00-16:00, Flat) and Tipperary (13:05-16:35, Flat).
Our expert marks your card with three to follow in Tuesday's Horse Racing Predictions.
Star Of Wins to win and each-way - BET NOW
Bottom-weight Star Of Wins may prove up to the task of making it 2-2 in handicaps here for William Haggas. The Sea The Stars colt is progressing with each outing so far, opening his account on his third appearance when he won a Windsor maiden over a mile and a quarter in July.
He took to handicapping in perfect fashion early last month at Sandown, defying a mark of 82, and looks to have been let go leniently with just a 2lb rise. He beat off the 88-rated Native Tribe from Charlie Appleby's yard on that run and the Godolphin runner was a winner on his next start.
This longer trip may bring further improvement from Star Of Wins and he can make use of his featherweight to take the scalp of Alan King's useful sort Tritonic.
Bering Upsun to win and each-way - BET NOW
A return to hurdling may prove profitable from Bering Upsun under champion jockey Brian Hughes. The nine-year-old is 0-6 over timber and goes over the smaller obstacles for the first time since 2018.
He made a winning start to his chasing career at Kelso in October last year and did so having missed 604 days previously. He didn't jump perfectly in that race and, in three more starts last winter, his fencing remained unconvincing.
He's back over sticks now and has to have valid claims from a mark 5lb lower than his most recent start at Catterick in January. His proven ability when fresh is another plus-point and he can get Hughes' afternoon off on the front foot.
Return Ticket to win and each-way - BET NOW
Return Ticket has only had a couple of starts since joining Rebecca Menzies from Ruth Jefferson and it's surely a case of when and not if he opens his account over fences.
He mixed it in some decent company last term, including a Grade 1 novice at Sandown, before twice finishing second over fences at Catterick and Kempton.
He changed yards during lockdown and surely lacked fitness when pulled up over hurdles at Uttoxeter last month. Eight days later he finished a commendable second at Perth back chasing, just failing to give away a significant weight burden to the all-the-way winner in a handicap. On these terms, he should be hard to hold.
