There's lots of racing on Tuesday with as many as seven meetings scheduled across the UK and Ireland.

Ayr (13.15-17.10) gets the ball rolling with their jumps card. There's more jumps action at Fakenham between 14.10 and 16.55, Southwell's event runs between 16.45 and 20.20 and Ballinrobe is on from 16.30 to 20.10.

The Flat racing comes from Gowran Park (13.35-16.50) and there's all-weather meetings at Lingfield (12.30-16.15) and Wolverhampton (17.30-20.30).

Ayr 14.20

Bafana Blue to win and each-way - BET NOW

It's worth sticking with Bafana Blue to remain in form for this assignment at Ayr. He's now a ten-year-old but he has tended to string good performance together in his career. He was on the scoresheet on his penultimate start at Wetherby (3m, good) when making most of the running and showing a good attitude to fend off the challengers. That took his record to eight wins in 23 starts over fences and his subsequent third in the Highland National at Perth was perfectly acceptable over a marathon distance.

He's still got scope to score from this mark judged on his past efforts and should go close again under Ross Chapman back over this manageable trip.

Tuesday's Horse Racing Prediction

Lingfield 13.30

Rebel Territory to win and each-way - BET NOW

Amanda Perrett's Rebel Territory wasn't given much of a chance in the betting for his second start when sent off 100/1 over this C&D in March but he very much outran his price to finish third of 11 that day.

He was amongst front rank throughout the race and only gave way late in the contest to the market principles. That now looks like a rather good piece of form, with the front pair having combined to win all three starts since, including Mohaafeth's five-length success in a Listed Newmarket race on Saturday.

William Buick is enlisted to ride Rebel Territory this afternoon and he looks well equipped to bag this Lingfield novice, with further improvement to come.

Tuesday's Horse Racing Best Bets

Southwell 16.45

Huntsmans Jog to win and each-way - BET NOW

Fergal O'Brien is fresh from recording his maiden century of winners in a single season and he commits Huntsman Jog to a new discipline here on his chase debut.

The seven-year-old missed a chunk of time before going close at Lingfield in October over hurdles and he built on that pleasing comeback when scoring in early December at Exeter (2m7f, soft).

He's been generally consistent in four further starts over timber since, without winning, and arrives here race-fit having run as recently as last month. Paddy Brennan's mount has been found a good starting point for this chase bow and he's shown himself to handle good ground already so conditions will be ideal for him.
