A busy midweek of racing action sees six meetings across Britain and Ireland, including the first of three days at Perth's Spring Festival over jumps.

Wednesday Horse Racing Accumulator Prediction

Ludlow (13.00-16.20) and Perth (13.25-17.15) provide the offerings over obstacles in the afternoon while there's Flat action from Catterick (13.45-17.05). All-weather cards at Lingfield (16.05-19.40) and Dundalk (16.50-20.20) join the evening jumps card at Taunton (16.55-19.30).

Threeunderthrufive to win and each-way - BET NOW

Paul Nicholls will be crowned Britain's champion trainer once more on Saturday afternoon and the Ditcheat handler can bag the feature contest on day one of the Spring Festival at Perth with Threeunderthrufive.

He won his first three starts over timber, including at Musselburgh in February when scoring in the Scottish Stayers Novices' Hurdle on his first attempt at this three-mile trip. He pulled clear with Fantastikas that afternoon and held on nicely, with three of the beaten horses in the winners' enclosure since.

Threeunderthrufive has been to Cheltenham since where he finished an honourable sixth in the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett over three-miles. His proven stamina is an asset here as likely favourite Stoner's Choice is tackling this trip for the first time. He represents a Fergal O'Brien yard on a high but he's been prone to some alarming jumping errors and that, coupled with this increased trip, is enough to sway things to Adrian Heskin's mount on his return to Scotland.

Ludlow 14.40

Tinkers Hill Tommy to win and each-way - BET NOW

Rebecca Curtis is certainly helping Tinkers Hill Tommy make up for lost time. Victorious in a novice chase at Chepstow in April 2018 by a wide margin, he'd make the racecourse just once in a near three-year spell afterwards before rocking up at the Welsh venue in February on his first start for the Neath trainer.

He finished a good second that afternoon, his first run for 336 days having left Bridget Lewis, and has backed that up with decisive wins at Hereford (3m1f, soft) and Newbury (2m7½f, good to soft) since.

He's got another 7lb to carry today but remains one to keep on side with Tom O'Brien taking over in the plate for the first time.

Catterick 14.50

Queen's Sargent to win and each-way - BET NOW

Queen's Sargent ran very well in the Spring Mile at Doncaster last month on seasonal return for Kevin Ryan and Kevin Stott, a partnership in good form just now.

He finished third despite odds of 33/1 and should find this challenge less daunting despite this 7f handicap being quite competitive on paper with five runners lining up.

The most obvious danger is recent C&D scorer Parys Mountain, though he was all out to hang on last time in a race he dominated from the outset and has to do more now from 4lb higher.

After running a solid race on the all-weather at Newcastle last June on his return, Queen's Sargent held his form afterwards with figures of 3112 in his next four starts and that bodes well for his chances of coming on from that Doncaster reappearance.
