There's a slightly less-packed schedule on Wednesday following a full on programme of Tuesday, with five UK and Ireland meetings set to take place.
The afternoon fare begins on the Flat at Nottingham (13.00-17.20) and Bath (13.40-17.35), ahead of jumps cards at Punchestown (13.15-16.35) and Wetherby (13.52-17.45). Later on, all-weather racing comes from Kempton (16.25-20.30).
Wednesday's Horse Racing Predictions
Shattered Love to win and each-way - BET NOW
Gordon Elliott has landed this Grade 3 six times since 2011 and you'd get short odds on the Cullentra supremo doing so again as he accounts for four of the eight runners lining up.
The Storyteller is fit and well and looks likely to start favourite while Elliott also saddles Ravenhill, Alpha Des Obeaux and the mare Shattered Love.
It's the last-named of those that makes most appeal under Mark Walsh. She's only managed a single success since her Cheltenham Festival success in 2018 but that doesn't tell the whole story.
She's routinely been competing in top races since - Grade 1s at home, the Cheltenham Gold Cup and Irish Grand National in 2019, and behind the likes of Al Boum Photo and Min at times last season.
Save for a slightly underwhelming run last year in a Gowran Park Grade 2 on her comeback, she's got an excellent record when fresh and this could be as good a time as any to catch her. She can take full advantage of this drop in class for a winning return.
First Impression to win and each-way - BET NOW
The appropriately-named First Impression is worth close inspection on hurdles bow Wetherby for trainer John Quinn and champion jockey Brian Hughes.
The Make Believe gelding developed into a smart performer on the Flat this summer in five runs, winning twice, including when last spotted at Ayr (1m2f, good to soft) last month off a mark of 85.
He's one of two very interesting hurdling newcomers here, joining Alan King's Midnights Legacy. The latter is certainly bred for this game but First Impression looks to have the scope to make a solid hurdler.
Dan Skelton has debutant Lustleigh, while Nigel Hawke's Historic Heart already has a win over timber but doesn't set an exacting standard. First Impression could be one to follow in this division over the winter if he takes to the game.
Wootton Creek to win and each-way - BET NOW
The Mark Johnston-trained Wootton Creek made a pleasing start to her career when second in a Newmarket fillies' maiden (7f, good) last month. She was well found in the market (second-favourite) but was powerless to stop the impressive Saffron Beach scoring by more than four lengths.
Jane Chapple-Hyam's runner won a Group 3 back at Headquarters on Saturday, while Nebulosa (third in that maiden) also got off the mark in decisive fashion over the same C&D at the weekend.
That gives the form a strong look and Wootton Creek should go one better now. Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore won this race a year ago and have claims again with Noon Star - third on debut at Salisbury - while newcomers Ocean Road and Missile are also notables for top yards, but Wootton Creek is the one to beat.
