Marco Botti saddles a smart sort at Lingfield on Wednesday afternoon and there's an interesting runner at a big price at Kempton.

Lingfield 3.10

Kyllachy Gala To Win and Each-Way @ 5/2 - BET NOW

The Class 2 Handicap at Lingfield is the best of the action on the all-weather on Wednesday and Kyllachy Gala could be an interesting runner. The five-year-old is yet to get off the mark for his new stable but he’s shown plenty of ability this all-weather campaign and trainer Marco Botti does well with these types.

The gelding was trapped out wide over course and distance two starts back and he wouldn’t have been suited to making his own running at Wolverhampton last time. The rival that won that contest has come out and franked the form since and there’s a suspicion there’s plenty more to come; his current handicap mark of 98 probably underestimates his ability.

Down towards the other end of the weights, Easy Tiger could prove the main danger. Malcolm Saunders’ charge clearly looks like a horse improving at present and there was a lot to like about the way he won over course and distance last time out.

The six-year-old has to improve again but he’s relatively lightly raced and gives the impression he’s capable of making his presence felt up in class.

Kempton 7.15

Gentleman To Win and Each-Way @ 11/1 - BET NOW

Over at Kempton, the Class 4 Handicap has an open looking feel to it, but Gentleman could be worth supporting at bigger odds. The seven-year-old is remarkably well-handicapped on old form, now 15lb below his last winning mark 18 months ago and while his slow starts often scupper his chance, he’s broken better on his last two outings.

Trainer Phil McEntee is in excellent form of late, with five winners from his last 17 runners and his yard can often be worth following when they hit a winning streak. While this runner clearly comes with risks attached, his price would appear to compensate for that and a drop back in trip further helps his claims.

Course and distance winner King Of Nepal shouldn’t be ruled out after getting back in the winners’ enclosure last time. He’s only been given a 4lb rise for that effort but he’s less exposed than many of his rivals in here and it’s another positive that he gets Fran Berry in the saddle again, a jockey who has been riding plenty of winners this winter on the all-weather.

Catterick 3.00

Cracking Find To Win and Each Way @ 3/1 - BET NOW

Bentelimar is likely to go off favourite for this event but he’s won just once in 12 starts over fences and his strike-rate suggests he could be worth opposing despite the fact he’s campaigned at a higher level than his rivals.

Cracking Find could be the one to take him on with. The seven-year-old has already won over fences and there’s likely to be plenty of improvement left in him. He comes from a yard in excellent form at present and the step up in trip ought to suit bearing in mind he’s won over similar distances when campaigned over hurdles. The current disparity in price between himself and Bentelimar looks too big at present.
