It is the final weekend of the long Formula One season with the teams in Abu Dhabi for Sunday's race, which is the last chance for drivers to finish 2018 on a high. Nick Harris takes us through his betting tips for the weekend.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

(Sun,13:10)

Race Winner - Valtteri Bottas @ 11/2 - BET NOW

Valtteri Bottas will be desperate to finish at the top of the podium for the first time this season in the final race of the year and repeat the success he enjoyed on the same circuit in 2017.

The Mercedes number two has spent most of the campaign playing second fiddle to world champion Lewis Hamilton and he will be desperate to get a win under his belt before the season closes.

With Mercedes likely to let both of their drivers race eachother freely on Sunday, if Bottas find himself anywhere near Hamilton towards the end of the race he could be allowed through as a way of payback for all the assistance he has offered the Briton throughout his title-winning season.

Although you can never rule out Hamilton from taking the race win, Sunday could finally be Bottas' day.

Driver To Retire First - Danniel Riccardo @ 16/1 - BET NOW

Daniel Riccardo, who will be driving his last race for the Red Bull team before moving on to Renault next season, has failed to finish eight times this season.

The Australian has been plagued with rotten luck throughout the year and and will be determined to just cross the finish line at the end of the race and wave the campaign goodbye.

But the worry is his car will let him down again so he is my F1 tip to retire first in the race to sum up his fairly miserable season.

Meanwhile, teammate Max Verstappen will be determined to make up for last week's disappointment at Interlagos with a win on Sunday.

The Dutchman was heading for his third top spot of the season in Brazil when he was in a collision with Esteban Ocon, who was attempting to unlap himself.

The Red Bull driver was spun round on the track and saw his hopes of a win go with it and he ended up finishing the race behind Hamilton.

Top-Six finish - Fernando Alonso @ 12/1 - BET NOW

If there were any romance in the sport then this will happen for the Spaniard and the F1 odds are certainly appealing for a fairytale finish to his career in the sport.

Alonso is set to quit F1, although he has said there are some iconic races elsewhere he might yet add to his calendar in the future.

McLaren chief Zak Brown has not ruled out Alonso making a return to the team at some point, saying they would not hesitate "to have Fernando be the first on the speed-dial list" if they need a driver but his focus now seems to be elsewhere.

He remains a man with immense talent, however, and you would not put it past the two-time world champion securing a top-six finish in Abu Dhabi to bow out in style.
