Just when we thought we had some sort of read on these two sides, they produce their worst performances of the season. The Warriors haven’t exactly set the world alight in 2015 but with three tight wins in a row – two of them away from home – it at least appeared they’d developed a taste for a fight. Not so last week as they were thrashed 36-4 by South Sydney. Likewise, three big wins had the Roosters firming in premiership discussions until a shambolic performance against Cronulla last Sunday. The Roosters have allowed just 26 points in their past four games combined. Throw in the night factor in chilly Auckland, and the under looks a safe bet.

Our say – Warriors v Roosters -40.5 points

Fortune may well have smiled on lowly Parramatta this week. After somehow blowing a 30-6 lead over North Queensland last Monday night, the luck of the draw pits them against a Melbourne outfit missing their Origin stars. The absence of Billy Slater, Cameron Smith, Will Chambers and injured half-back Cooper Cronk looks like a crippling blow. In total, the Storm will be without 983 games worth of NRL experience this week with their replacements having totaled just 57 between them. The Eels can be a devastating attacking outfit at times but their defence is horrible at best, having conceded an NRL-worst 314 points in 2015.

Our say – Storm v Eels WIN
