The 2019 World Snooker Championship Final gets underway later on Sunday and we assess the possibility of Judd Trump claiming his maiden title at the expense of four-time winner John Higgins at the Crucible.
2019 World Snooker Championship Final Betting Odds
As far as experience and past records go, Trump has plenty of ground to make up on his final opponent as Higgins knows what it takes to win in the pressure-cooker of a World Snooker Championship final having lifted the trophy in 1998, 2007, 2009 and 2011.
Indeed it was 43-year-old Higgins' last success in Sheffield when he overcome Trump 18-15 in the final eight years ago, while the 'Wizard of Wishaw' also came out on top 13-12 in the quarter-finals 12 months ago.
Higgins has the a big advantage in head-to-head meetings between the pair, winning the last nine clashes, most recently at this year's Championship League, so naturally looks tempting at 7/4 to again come out on top over the next two days.
Trump has suggested that both himself and Higgins have not been the best players at the tournament but have found a way to "dig in" for their victories.
But the 29-year-old has looked more convincing in his matches than Higgins with his closest tie coming in the first round when he defeated Thepchaiya Un-Nooh 10-9.
'The Ace In The Pack' overcame qualifier Gary Wilson 17-11 in the last four on Saturday after Higgins had a more taxing time when he edged out David Gilbert 17-16 in a thrilling semi-final showdown.
Higgins' win sealed a third consecutive final and, having lost out to Mark Selby in 2017 and Mark Williams 12 months ago, Trump is 8/15 to make it three losses in a row at the final hurdle.

To Go To Deciding Frame - Yes @ 13/2 - BET NOW
The majority of the pair's previous head-to-heads have all been tight affairs and on the evidence of their performances over the past fortnight, it looks like another closely-contested battle will take place.
Higgins won the quarter-final clash in 2018 in the deciding frame, while he also edged out Trump courtesy of a final-frame decider for 2012 Shanghai Masters.
Trump admitted to feeling "very tired" after his semi-final win and claimed Higgins will also be mentally drained given the way they have both scrapped their way through to the final.
Indeed, Higgins hit out at the "scandalous" timing of the schedule for the final which suggests that he is already feeling the heat.
The player who can maintain his focus the longest should come through, but with Trump promising an "epic" final, there is a good chance this could again go down to the wire.
2019 World Snooker Championship Final? Prediction
Higgins - Highest Break In Match@ 5/4 - BET NOW
Trump is fancied to edge this market at 4/7, but it is Higgins who goes into the final with more consistency in terms of higher breaks throughout the championship.
Both players have hit seven breaks of 100 or more, but six of the Scot's have been over 130 with his best a 143 against Gilbert in the semi-finals.
Trump has hit over 130 only twice from his seven century breaks and his biggest break of 141 came back in the opening round.
