The World Snooker Championship begins on Saturday as the world's top players bid to land the biggest prize in snooker at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.
World Snooker Championship 2019 Betting Odds
Neil Robertson outright @ 6/1 - BET NOW
Ronnie O'Sullivan is the favourite at 13/5, Judd Trump is next at 5/1 and Neil Robertson is a 6/1 shot. These three stars have been the most consistent over the course of this season and it is no surprise to see them with the shortest prices in the World Snooker Championship 2019 betting odds.
Defending champion Mark Williams is a 20/1 shot and it does looks unlikely he'll be able to retain the title. The Welshman has just one tournament win this year - at the World Open early in the season - and has struggled for form for much of the campaign. John Higgins finished as runner-up last year and is also a 20/1 chance, but like Williams his form isn't particularly encouraging and he may be best avoided.
Mark Selby fell at the first hurdle last year but has three wins in Sheffield in the last five years and is available at 9/1, with Kyren Wilson (18/1) and Mark Allen (20/1) also potential contenders as they bid for maiden world title successes.

World Snooker Championship 2019 Betting Tips
Barry Hawkins outright EW @ 25/1 - BET NOW
The bottom half of the draw looks far stronger than the top with O'Sullivan, Trump, Selby, Ding Junhui and Allen all potentially facing each other before the final.
Robertson is the main danger in the top half of the draw, and should the 'Thunder From Down Under' fail to reach the final there are a few players who stand out as each-way options.
One of which is Barry Hawkins. Despite his poor form heading into the event, the 39-year-old always saves his best for The Crucible.
Hawkins reached the final in 2013 and in the five years since has reached the semi-finals four times, with a quarter-final exit in 2016 his worst result during that time.
World Snooker Championship 2019 Prediction
Judd Trump outright @ 5/1 - BET NOW
O'Sullivan is the legitimate favourite given his incredible form this season but The Crucible hasn't been a happy hunting ground for 'The Rocket' in recent years.
The 42-year-old has won five of the 10 tournaments he has entered and reached two further finals this season but he hasn't managed to progress beyond the last eight of the World Championship since finishing as the runner-up five years ago.
Trump offers a bit more value at 5/1 and has also enjoyed a successful campaign. The seventh seed has two ranking event victories this term and finally managed to get his hands on a second Triple Crown trophy at The Masters - where he produced a scintillating display in the final to see off O'Sullivan 10-4.
The concern in regards to Trump is his recent record in Sheffield, but he did reach the quarter-finals last year after two early exits. O'Sullivan and Trump are on course for a last-eight meeting this time around, in a match-up that may well decide who takes the trophy.
