Pre-tournament favourite Novak Djokovic has sents his odds crashing to 3/10 following a comfortable win against rising star Alexander Zverev in the second round of ATP Tour Finals matches in London.

The World Number 1 saw off the German in a comfortable 6-4, 6-1 victory to send the Serbian to the top of the rankings in the Guga Kuerten Group.

Dropping just 12 games in his four sets so far this tournament, Djokovic is showing utter dominance as he continues his strong form since coming back from injury.

After missing last year’s World Tour Finals, the Serbian looks to be making up for loss time with his first two matches brushing aside Zverev and American John Isner in two sets apiece.

Why Is Djokovic odds-on?

A five-time World Tour Finals winner, Novak Djokovic thrives among his peers and will be keen to take advantage of Roger Federer’s slip up earlier in the week to Kei Nishikori who won in straight sets 7-6, 6-3 against the Swiss.

With Rafa Nadal pulling out through injury, Djokovic looks set for further dominance in this tournament. Even if Roger Federer is able to recapture some form over the next two games, the 20-time Grand Slam winner will be need to overcome his current losing record against the Serbian.

Djokovic and Federer have faced each other 47 times in total with the Serbian winning 25 over 22 victories for Federer.

Roger Federer to win @ 11/2 – BET NOW

Federer has also not won a Tour Finals since 2011 where he beat Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in three sets to set the record for the most Tour Finals wins in history with six titles.

Since then, he has only made the final three, losing to Djokovic in all three counters. A Victory for Djokovic in this year’s competition will see him equal Roger Federer’s record of six titles which is an extra motivation for the current World Number 1.

Roger Federer is looking for his 100th title in his career with victory in London, but he will need to buck his ideas up against World Number 8 Kevin Anderson in order to make the semi-finals.

Roger Federer is currently priced at 11/2 to win the tour finals, behind Djokovic at 3/10. The aforementioned Kevin Anderson is the third favourite to win the Finals with a value price of 8/1 in the ATP Tour Finals betting outright market.

After defeating Marin Cilic in two sets on Monday, Alexander Zverev is still in the running to win the tournament with a price of 18/1 – but after today’s performance the chances of him avenging Djokovic in the final on Sunday look slim.
